Yes, they are all SMG transmissions at the driving school.

The cost is $1,300 for the one day class per person. BMW had a promotion in the fall of 2008; buy an M3 and get the 1 day class for two people for free - they even paid for our room at the Marriot (and provide transportation to and from the airport).

So you can only get instruction if you are an owner of an M3?

@christychackojohn no there are driving classes where they supply the M vehicle, but you have to take some other courses before you can graduate to the M performance classes. (learn to walk before you run.)
