  • I'm holed up in my home waiting for the MIB but I'm out of peanut butter!

  • It's so weird seeing him perform without the pixies, He'll always be Black Francis to me.

  • Poor Frank... He suffered from the "Prince" syndrome (and Ani DiFranco) by simply not knowing when to edit himself. Perhaps with better management, he could have made a more significant impact. Edit, Frank... Come on Pilgrim... You know we love you!

  • He makes the worst videos but that is what I like about them.

  • i'm not black like Barry White, i'm white like Frank Black is

  • The singer makes his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches weird....good song though

  • naw <3

  • 2:05 - 2:35 "..just in case, I made you a copy and I put it in the maaaiilll." awesome. love the close up!

That bridge or whatever you call it after that is cool, too. I love how the background guitar moves off and joins back up.

  • YES..your right dude ..

'that was totally FUCKING AWSOME !!

    this song was criminally overlooked

  • Best chorus lyrics I've ever heard

  • Frank Black can write about ANYTHING.

One minute, he's singing about PT Barnum and Bigfoot, then about the face on Mars, goes into an underground-trash-rock anthem for the Univ. of Massachusetts, and before you know it, he's singing an ode to sea monkeys! Who else can do that?

    No one. Long live Frank!

  • don't forget others about corrupt priests, waiting for your drug dealer, sexy surfer alien chicks, The three stooges, a trip to area 51, and ping pong.

  • @barjonah What's even funnier is that all those songs you mentioned, from U-Mass to alien abduction, are based on Frank's personal experience.

  • black fracis for president

  • LONG LIVE THE FREAKING PIXIES!!!!

  • best songwriter on the planet atm imho

  • frank = best songwriter/singer/performer/slash of all time!

  • slash*

  • I agree, Frank is a true genius, every album he has ever made has it's own feel, every song in fact...so versatile, pure genius.

  • Frank's got a lot of talent when it comes to switching up his vocals. And a lot of talent in songwriting too. He's just great and I feel thankful that he's still putting out albums. His nashville albums are some of my favorites.

  • dinner plate specials, the shapes of cucumbers

  • The whole Cult of Ray Album kicks ass and Lyle Workman is a frigging great guitar player!

  • i agree!

  • Top 5 songs of all time easy.

  • Dave McCaffrey IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST (bass)

  • How did this NOT get insanely popular?

If that pb&j sandwich showed up on ebay one day I'd pay big bucks for it... Ahaha.

  • It did get insanely popular... AT my house. First time I've ever seen this video though. Anyone know where I can get this? Is it on a dvd? New album "Bluefinger" out soon!

  • I had my copy of Bluefinger preordered for the euro release... Then I realized that by the time it gets to my house, the US copy will already be out.... so I screwed myself a bit :(

  • I caught this video for the first time when Frank Black was on 120 minutes on MTV and I went out the next day and picked up the first three Frank Black albums. My collection is still a bit spotty but Bluefinger was great!

  • d'you believe it?

    YOU BETTER!!

  • IM WATCHING MY BACK!
