  • Que legal! Coloquei o nome do meu filho de BRUNO WALTER sem saber que este maestro teve tanto sucesso. E que meu avô o Maestro Juquita de Ponte Nova - Minas Gerais Brasil, era um excelente Maestro e que não vou esquecer jamais. Achei o máximo esta lembrança, talvez meu filho pode ser este Maestro de sucesso como foi o "WALTER BRUNO" e como foi o meu avô o MAESTRO JUQUITA".

  • Too bad they never recorded the whole thing. It would have been a classic recording. Columbia Records didn't provide him with a big enough orchestra to do Mahler or Bruckner, though the basis of a great recording is always there, but there's never enough musicians in the studio.

  • Thank you so much for posting this ... only the 2nd live footage of seen of the great, great Walter conducting. Is there more footage? Where is this from? How can one obtain it? Thank you so much again. Walter is one of my heroes.
