Card counting isn't illegal. Casinos just don't want to lose money so they ban you if your sucessfully counting. It sucks but any company has the right to refuse service to anyone, for whatever reason.

Unfortunately I heard something about Griffin Investigations still being around but not being as powerful as it used to be. I also heard that a group called Biometrica invented facial recognition technology. The problem is, technology is only as good as its user. I hope the don't use Continuous Shuffling Machines in every casino. They dominated Australian casinos. There's also some tables that use Mindplay21, a system that identifies bet spreads based on the count.
