Vlade Divac was playing great D on Shaq, maybe even playing better than him, but and the refs tried to get Vlade in foul trouble very quick, and they did. Divac was the best defender on Shaq in this game. And, the refs got all of the Kings big men in foul trouble, so there was no one left to guard Shaq. Obvious fix.

You have to throw in some calls for the other team so it helps keep down the suspicions of a fix. Its obvious from watching this game that the refs planned on reffing this game fairly as long as the Lakers looked like they were going to win the game. When the 4th quarter came and the Lakers looked like they were going to lose, the refs stepped in.

There was a drastic change in the way the game was being called once the 4th quarter hit and you cant deny that. Sure I cant prove it was because of a fix, but according to Tim Donaghy's testimony, I'm right.

He tried to draw a foul once in game 7 & he didn't get the call cause Dan Crawford explained that he just fell down or flopped. That was a GREAT call cause he clearly did. Actually, a LOT of NBA players flop to draw fouls. About 8 times out of 10 they will get the call. But in some cases they won't cause the refs know they just flopped.

How was this game rigged? The refereeing was poor, but the refs missed some obvious calls on the Kings, what with all the moving screens, flops, offensive fouls etc. The Kings let the refereeing get to them whereas the Lakers just played ball. After every foul call, the Kings were up in arms, being all theatrical. In a playoff game with so much on the line, that is not how you go about your business. It doesn't help that their coach complained a lot too. But to say the game is rigged is absurd.
