  • Girugamesh at their finest!

  • * A * so awesome

  • This song is awesome and heavy as fuck.

  • Girugamesh, go back to this style of music. Your two recent albums suck. Sincerely a fan of the old days.

  • @20Set10 If you were a true fan, you'd move along with their change. Quit whining over the style they used to play and get used to what they play now.

  • @PokeFreak1423 and you quit blaspheming, 20set10 viewed an OLD SONG youtube link he liked, cuz he likes old girugamesh, period. each one with their own. this song has everything their new music lacks off a.k.a Awesomeness hahahaha.

  • @dirtyblueblood13 And I never told him to change his taste. I told him to get used to the new Girugamesh. Your argument is invalid, good day sir. :)

  • @PokeFreak1423 bull crap...being a true fan doesnt mean if they change from metal to pop that you still have to like them...you didnt get what music is for , stupid probably fanboy!

  • The songs on "reason of crying" are the best in my point of view. They are so powerful, but still a bit melancholic. This song is also great, but "Real my place" is still my favourite.

  • Man i really love their sound! its so deep and engaging. when you listen to it its like ur in a jrock concert in person!

  • this is their best song *my own opinion*

    its just WHAM!!@ AWESOME.

  • i love this so and i no it might be a mistake but i love that repeat at 2:45

  • I'm listening to a lot of Japanese music lately XD

  • Girugamesh FTW!!! Their old style was much better. I hope that they will come back with it.

  • @fivesilvercoins yes ;) vilkaa??

  • @osaniss ooh, hör du dem inte? XD lyssna från typ 1:48. det låter som han skriker "monarki, saknat dig! *vrål* julafton, sommarlov!"

    <3

  • @fivesilvercoins looool xD haha nu hör jag xD

  • @fivesilvercoins Were the misheard lyrics translated to English?

  • @UrbaniteLN14 well, it's very random, but translated it's something like "monarchy, i missed ya! *roar* Christmas eve, summer vacation!" .... it just sounds so funny to me, since it sounds like perfect Swedish. XD;

  • Amo de verdad esta canción!!!!

  • Girugämesh is one of the best visual key band´s of the world

the screm parts in this song are brilliant

    i love you Girugämesh

  • Girugamessh rocks like a hurricane xD

    ¬¬]

  • girugamesh

  • HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO esta rolita esta bien vergaz xD

  • .. =D Love this

  • This is Oshare Kei. Oshare kei is not necessarily colorful. It just means a more relaxed, but dramatic wardrobe. There's a specific type of visual kei that is for a more gothic side. Visual Kei in gerenal means a Visual look. It's not street clothes.

  • @DeadlySilverBlood

this is not oshare at all....i consideer it more close to kote...or white kei XPPPP

  • Comment removed

  • @Ram875 Actually they are Nagoya kei, now that I look at it.

Nagoya kei is a subgenre of visual kei, with its roots in the modern music scene of Nagoya, Japan. Often considered darker and gloomier than normal kei, nagoya takes its musical influences moreso from western (specifically British) punk rock bands than visual kei initially had.

White kei doesn't exist, and Kotekei is traditional visual kei. Examples are Exist+Trace, and Dir en Grey back in the day.

  • @DeadlySilverBlood

    WOW...O___o..thanks for the little history

    ; )...

there are so many subgenres...you can get lost with it...XDDD

  • @DeadlySilverBlood Now I thought to be "real nagoya kei" they band would have to be from nagoya(I'm not sure if Girugamesh iz from there or not btw) And explain eroguro kei to me

  • @TheKairou It says it's roots are from Nagoya, but it never says you have to be from Nagoya. And Eroguro Kei is something like UnsraW used to be, or some horror gothic style. I think that Exist+Trace classifies as Eroguro style. You can look it up.

  • lol.. This does not sound like Oshare Kei.. When that hear that word I think of the band SuG..

  • Ah... girugamesh aren't Oshare Kei or??? Aren't they normal Visual Kei??

  • No, they arent oshare kei. Girugamesh is Visual kei 100%

    (:

  • i agree with silverhell, thats oshare .

  • hmm is there like 2 versions cus the one i got is different =/ both good though =]

  • I love this song!!! ooooh!!! i love His voice

  • oh yes. ich liebe diesen song!! *_*

  • jaaaaaaa geil man

    Girugamesh ROCKS ! ! !

  • ist das der fernsehturm im hintergrund von dem bild o.O

  • GIRUGAMESHHH *points fingers liek the fat kid out of the advert*

  • I think they have their own style:)

  • Not emo, it's visual kei. Visual Kei existed wayyyyy before emo.

  • This song kick ass!!

  • well heck yeah they arent visual kei! they're oshare kei if you hadnt known. -_- stop talking about girugamesh like they are some wanna-be's.

  • Dude...If you have the SLIGHTEST idea that anybody CLOSE to girugamesh is oshare kei you really should even listen to them anymore.lol I really REALLY hope you're kidding. lol

  • That was my friend btw!

  • Oshare kei is Visual Kei. ^^;;

  • no it's not! oshare kei is a bit more happy and colourful and fashionable. I'm not saying that visual kei isn't fashionable. visual kei just has more of the gothic look, whereas oshare kei has more of the punk look. but they are neither gothic, nor emo, and not even punk.

  • giru is a sub-genre of metal... listen to the vocals for fks sake, also they use blast beats often, the guitars are tuned low and repetitive riffing.. this is all characteristics of metal. they are not slayer or metallica.. but doesn't mean they aren't metal. LEARN abt the genre before you make statements. also not all girugamesh is metal.. they have metal elements in their music, that's it.. they are also hard rock and alternative.. you dnt have to sound like some other metal band to be metal

  • This is not even visual kei to me.

They do not dress up as visual kei, bands who does/did is for example: La:sadie's, Dir en grey, Eze:Qul, Da'vid Shinto:all, LAREINE. And lots of other bands.

And yes, visual kei have a typicall sound and this is not it.

This is NU-metal to me. But still a very great band <3

  • vk is changing.. over-the-top costumes is not used as much.. look at gazette and nightmare. they are vk, but they are not wearing dresses from the renaissance and they do not all look like women in their 40s.. doesnt mean they are not vk. but i get what you mean. girugamesh doesnt have very vk image..

and yes giru has some nu-metal.. finally someone knows their genres

  • Well, nightmare and The gazettE is still looking way more VK then Girugamesh is.

But the new era of visual kei is not good anyway. So meh.

Thank god for VK from 80's-90's. <3

  • i agree..giru doesn't look very vk. but in essence they are still vk.

i prefer modern vk but that's just me.. some bands like giru and gaze are delving into metal genres which is exciting. but there's alot of modern vk that i don't like. i dnt want to name bands but there are some which make very boring music and only pose to get fans.. i know vk is a 'posing' genre overall..but some bands are pushing it. i hope you understand

  • Ofcourse i do. :P

No, VK is not a posing genre, not from the begining. But today it is, which is the reason to why i prefer older VK. :P

  • i love good grammar XD

  • love love love love LOVE it so much *____*

    GO Girugamesh ! =D ♥

  • *orgasm*

  • snoregasm :3

  • visual kei is not a musical genre. girugamesh is mostly hard rock/metal. how fkn thick do you have to be to think this is screamo? and why does the label even matter? if it sounds good it sounds good. regardless of genre

  • I think VK is a genre and a stlye because it has sub genres and it sometimes it sounds different. Listen to The gazette or Screw or Irokui and you'll see. xD btw Who's the dumbass who called this screamo? lol

  • Never heard this one before. Awesome!!

  • thumbs up!

i like screaming songs or should i say screamO.

    new band that i discovered!

  • not screamo, because that is screaming emo music, and this is definitly not it, its visual Kei, wagatta?

  • arguing about genre is pointless in my opinion... if you like the band then who the hell gives a damn about its genre :P

i like Girugamesh and i do not give a damn about its genre :P

  • Exactly. They're argueing with people that they will NEVER meet in person. So they talk trash to one another when they have the comfort of knowing they wont get beaten down. Lets see them talk trash face to face. Internet arguements are SO pathetic.

  • hahaha so funny and true, i like how you break them down

  • owo RAWRRR They're amazing

  • amazing song....as usual lol

  • My new favourite song :D

  • viva Girugämesh ò.ó

  • uh.... y u ll arguing anyways?

  • i'm british but i say genre..

any way why are you arguing on a giru video about different types of metal??

    tehres no point

  • I dont know about girugamesh

sometimes they're perfect to the point my ears are bleeding from the perfection of metal

    but other times

I just think its too aggressive fore me.

  • No offence, tho, anyone who's bothering to argue with people over the internet, propably won't be feeling the warmth of a woman(at least not your own). Tho, what you said before that, I agree with you.

  • Heh, mainly pointed out that for him, but it's the best way to reply on your comment so people know whose side I'm on the most.

Nah, they should be sent nowhere, just let them live in their own little barrel and with their own ignoraces and maybe someday they'll get brains. ^^ Don't really care who has a girl and who doesn't, since I got my own problems with my girlfriend(well not really problems, but anyway). Talking about other's sexual life just is something anyone should just shut up about.

  • why is jap songZ more epic then american songZ? wtf?

  • cause japanese songs rock..the language is really catchy....XD i understand it O_o

  • uh huh

  • whats the triangles mean??

  • I discovered these guy from the ad U_U

    BUT THEY'RE AWESOME!

  • even though people say girugamesh is a metal band i dont think they are (that much) plus even when satoshi screams its not like its screeching (srry couldnt think of another word) it actually sounds pleasant x3

  • they are metal, just people don't want to accept it because of their presumptions about death metal, this different, metal RULES!

  • J-metal~

  • far from metal

  • When you said ''far from metal'' you just proved you don't know anything about music gendres. No offence tho, not everyone knows everything about everything(and so on).

[Since every site says Girugamesh is a Japanese Metal band, and the albums are labeled as J-metal and the riffs are metal riffs as well as guitar tunes and double basses, then it's J-metal[Metal], right?]

  • well, first off "J-Metal" isn't a genre by itself. It's just "metal". Second, they're just alt-rock or nu-metal or something.

According to most "real" metal fans, that type of metal veers more to the alt rock or rapcore side. Metal is stuff like.. Sigh, Gorgoroth, Behemoth, Mastodon, Slayer etc.

  • Ugh...you seriously lack some knowledge about metal gendres...-_- Mastodon = Death Metal..>_> Arguing against label/recording companies is pretty pointlees you know? If every freaken CD says ''J-metal'' and every freaken internet site says the same AND every music company that knows them...-_-'' J-metal is one style of metal, as well as Nu metal and such.

See? you're talking in a way that tells ''I know nothing about what I'm saying right now''..>_>.

Every gendre that has the word ''Metal''

  • is metal. It's just that simple. and saying that ''J-metal'' isn't a gendre, is just pure bullshit. Welcome to the world of music, there comes a new band, there also might come a new music gendre, like as HIM is being called ''Love Metal'' even tho there was nothing like that before them. Seems you don't know much of Girugamesh and their gendre so...why do I even bother with this argument.._.

  • your argumentation is immideatly void because you use the word "gendre" instead of "genre".

J-Metal is only seen as a genre because weeaboos feel that Japan is special enough to warrant an entire special treatment because OH MY GOD THEY'RE JAPANESE KAWAII XDDD. You don't see people tagging german metal as G-Metal or Brazillian pop as B-Pop or anything either now, do you? Just because alot of people use a certain term doesn't mean it's correct.

  • However, there's more than just the J-Genres, there's also K, C, T, Th, and much more. Europe gets their own classifications in other music, such a UK Hardstyle or UK Hardcore (Happy Hardcore). In their electronica, that's where they generally get their classification. I've seen German Metal as a separate classification before, but not as G-Metal. Though, G-Metal would also be correct. It really depends on your part of the world. It also depends on your part.

  • Yepyep, Agreed with that 100%.

  • So it seems you don't know much about different english language countries ways to write and say different words in different way either...I wonder what they are teaching you in Neds...>_>

Lol, yeah, now you're talking about those chav girls who think Japanese like that. Yeah, I don't, but that's because German metal sounds just like any other metal band. Unlike Japan, they make every gendre sound different from the western metal music. If you use your ears and that little bean between them

  • , then you should realize it yoursef. I'm sorry but you've kinda lost this argument already when you started it. see what ''xcorebutterfly'' has said, he just said how things are. So you're pretty much alone with what you said(except for your propably as retarded friends as you are)

  • Agreed.

  • It's GENRES, not GENDRES. Sorry. You make some valid points, but your argument becomes less valuable by these simple spelling mistakes. You have to sound smarter than them. :P

  • I'm sorry, smartass, but I don't speak retard canadian/american english, where you do spell it ''Genre''. So what you just said is incorrect. And well...English is like my 3rd-4th language anyway so..^^' And I prefer more Brittish-English :P But yeah, I get your point xD

  • I agree with you. I don't see Giru as metal. They are their own category of music. I call it "GiruRock" haha Cheers.

  • i really love this song. such a great band. ^____^

  • i love them

they are my favourite band <3

  • GIRUGAMESH
