Well, to be a judge, this is better than Everlast live, somewhat. I'd still want to see them but Eric should probably figure out a way to bring out his voice more. with good ideas and music for his band, he needs more vocals. IT's nothing to the mic but adapting, if you like being on stage

I'm just saying if you never "connected" with Bruce Springsteen it's because of 2 reasons.

A. You haven't listened to the right albums.

B. You don't strive to get out of a dire situation such as a dead town, you don't believe in what the highway offers, you don't like fast muscle cars, you don't listen to the idea of a Americana way of life. And you aren't searching for a home to feel apart of. Mainly, you don't believe in magic. Cause that's what these guys saw in Bruce and that's what i see

@julianppp completely honest, i'm not a springsteen fan. I'm sure he has a great deal of influence on Gaslight, but I've never really listened to many of Bruce's songs. I'm a big Bouncing Souls fan, tho lol

@julianppp absolutley... NOT. I got a Bruce Springsteen Essentials record because I always heard how much influence he had on The Gaslight Anthem and I was very dissapointed. The Gaslight Anthem is the best band to not only come out of New Jersey, but the world.

@porkandbeans08 :) i get where you're coming from and i agree that TGA is pure awesomeness but it's clear that they get some of their inspiration and values from the same place that Bruce did which is why there's so much talk of Bruce's influence on them. anyway, i think we're lucky to have them both.

@porkandbeans08 If you want to here some good Bruce get the Born to Run album. the Songs Born to Run and Thunder Road are the best. Also from a different album Racing in the Streets is an amazing song.

@DangerCoughlin101 You misunderstood me, I am not trash talking Bruce Springsteen at all. I just said that I was dissapointed with the record because I was expecting something else. Also, of course Brian Fallon and co. are not going to say they are better than one of their biggest influences I know that. However, I believe that they are better and that is my opinion and I honestly believe that. Let me just say the Gaslight Anthem are my Bruce Springsteen. THEY FUCKING ROCK
