the impasto brush, it is REALLY thick paint, makes it look like hair but it is really difficult to work with.

I have to give you all the credit in the world for painting an anatomically correct wolf without any sort of underpainting at all. Great detail and nice work with the patterns and brushes.

I feel like your shading could use some work though. Doesn't really describe the form of the wolf too well and doesn't seem to have any sort of origin or proper light source. Also the generic background takes away from the quality of the subject.

But this is an old video, so you may ignore me if you'd like.

I do but people get bored, so I sketch, without recording it, until I get it the way that I want it and then do the main outline. Then I record myself "tracing" the outline.

Eh, it's one of those kinda stupid, kinda cute little movies. Can't wait to finish. But I think we're about to get a new dog, so that might put a hold on the movie for now, and then I start back to school in about three weeks.

Well, I'm kinda old to be making cute movies lol

But yeah I think we're going to adopt a pit bull named Jersey, he's been to hell and back. Lost all his hair and only weighed 27 pounds when he was found, thrown out and abandoned. Now he weighs 56 pounds and still had a cute little bald spot on the tip of his tail, he's awesome! The rescuer thinks he may be 11 months to a year old.

I think maybe he got sick and the owner didn't have enough money to care for him so they just let him go.

But some puppies in stores come from puppy mills, so it is very bad to buy them at stores.

That is the IMPASTO brush, which means really thick paint, the brushstrokes each have their own highlight and shadow, it's great!

Yes, and it is animated . . . kinda. And yes I will post it. For an example of what it will look like check out my vids and watch my first movie, this movie will be a sequal to that one (Dogz Western)

So far the sequal is 37 minutes, but when I'm done it might be around 43.

what brus did you use for the fur? are you useing photoshop cs3?

It is called the IMPASTO brush, impasto means very very thick paint, each bristle stroke has a dark shadow and light highlight giving a look of depth and a very nice fur texture, it doesn't take nearly as long to make the fur, this was my first time trying the impasto brush for fur and i think it worked very well. As for the program I use Corel Painter X :)
