  • 'Duk' is Stokie

  • jhh

  • I laughed at this it was so funny but it would serve as an antidote to the Americans who keep getting into hot water when that talk about the British accent ( singular ) Suffolk ( the county ) is better than Norfolk and good !!

  • he did a scouse accent for manchester

  • "Liverpoool"?? its more "Liverpeeuull"

  • @carpdiem88 It depends which district you are from - especially if your accent is more Welsh than Irish . You can hear Welsh in what is known as the "Dead Scouse" accent

All the slurrings and guttural-isations are Pure Welsh . Whereas some have a more Irish pace to their fundamentally LANCASHIRE ( Now Merseyside ) accent

If you Listen to how the Beatles used to speak and then listen to the Hollies you will hear certain similarities.

  • awww - i wanted to hear what the Pakis from Yorkshire sounded like! :o(

  • @carpdiem88 They sound like they are from Yorkshire !!.but It is not as stunning as Chinese looking girls with Govan accents from Glasgow. They are actually Scottish if they are born there !! and of course British !!

  • in derby they do call men duck but they also call women duck which is stupid because they could at least call them a mallard

  • @Rossy0080 No No they are all Ducks !! But a male duck can be called a Drake .

Unlike deer where you can have a Stag and ,a hind or a doe .

  • @Rossy0080 LOL I'm gonna nick that, NICE!

  • Youre sooooo good.

  • This guy is a legend

  • @LowGasPricesHD More of a LEG END ; o )

  • There's more than one Welsh accent :(

  • @unholyjebus Quite right - The North Welsh is where the "Dead Scouse " gets all that slurring and wet Ds as in "Dzon't dzoo thats !! or al battser yer !!" It is just a hint of s but it can be quite noticeable in the phrase Heart Attack which can sound like Arse Attack .Which can provide the listener with certain difficulties when some one is explaining that event !! ( Embolism or wind ??)

  • @unholyjebus True

  • 3:16 Hitler Duck!!!!!

  • theres just summet about us yorkshirers that cant put us fingers on it, but we'll always be proud of coming from good old yorkshire!

  • @ameliaabeadles "theres just summet about us yorkshirers that cant put us fingers on it..."

    I think it's the pudding?

  • @cadmus98 It's Puddin' tha great 'appeth . Never mind put kettle on lad we'll have summet for us supper !! ( My Wife's from Rawmarsh don't you know !! )

  • @domnal Does tha meeyun ROWmish? LOL I used to live on Queen Street near't t'Queens 'Otel and I went to AYF ROOWUD SKOYUL

  • @MlSTERSEANlE Me faither in law worked in coil pit till l he werr made redundant at 53. Ma wife is from Rawmish but am from Northern Ireland . Is tha wife from Yorkshire or just tha sen .?

  • @MlSTERSEANlE Ma wife wants to know " Were tha int scoil when they set fire t' sport's hall int summer holidays ? "

  • @patchworkplaid yeah but that was over the course of hundred of years, if people are travelling within the country a lot the population tends to homogenise. But local areas do develop regional accents over time if there is a degree of separation. Some areas of Australia do have differenced in accents.

  • this is very good! very well done :P

  • Boulton, is in greater manchester btw not Lancashire although Manchester the City was once in lancashire...

  • Thank you so much for this! It was so interesting hearing all the accents change as you went down the country! I am from the Home Counties, and proud! <33

  • Really really really enjoyed watching this!!! Good job!!!!

  • No surrender!

  • YOOOOOOORRKKSHIRE!

  • I'd love to see you tackle the Isle of Man accent, it's a very curious (but nice) one!

  • @ddemaine Conish sta shu ?

  • wtf no. Nobody talks like that in Burnley or Blackburn, he sounded like Hagrid not somebody from Lancashire

  • The wez cunnery ones are awful.

  • Many of these accents were very much like the way people speak in those places. Fair enough, a couple were not perfect, but it's impossible to speak in every accent perfectly. I was born in Camden, Central London and now live in Stanmore, Harrow, Greater London. Although they are not extremely far away, the accents are extremely differant and even the environment (land) is completely differant. Any way, wherever you're from, have a great day!

  • i'm from birmingham and you made me proud ahaa.

without wanting to sound like a twat tipton is in "dudloy"

  • Me dads just said tha's south yorkshire accent were reyt offensive.

  • @chicbbi Nayo ; o ) he's pullin' thi plonker seethee

  • Cornish was waaaaaay off!

  • im from birmingham... he went a bit yam-yam in the middle but still love it :)

  • 7 people didn't like this: One was a Pakistani, one was from Cornwall, one was John Cole, one was a hip hop fan, one was a pirate, one from Birmingham and the last was an American who didn't understand anything.

  • @Sum0phlange LOL

    Nice one

  • @Sum0phlange I hope you weren't waiting for the Americans to understand anything - because you would be waiting a long time.

  • brilliant job! I'm still waiting for the day someone comes out with a cheshire accent on one of these vids :( or more specifically crewe

  • @jjjaaaccckkk me toooooo! More specifically Northwich :D

  • @jjjaaaccckkk me tooooooooooo!!! Northwich ! :)

  • Haha this guy is hilarious!! Some very funny impressions (And some of them are pretty spot on- his BBC English is great!!)

  • true naa-folk lacks the pronounced "r"s which are more of a west country thing

  • How could you miss the Bath accent?!

  • burnley hahahaha !!! we do not talk like that!!!

  • he is virgin

  • @grancaligula You must the Eeengleesh be to learning

  • I have a semi-posh NARFUCK accent :L

  • This was really interesting, too bad it was full of racism and xenophobia...Someone else might have represented the immigrants and their accents as an addition to the multitude rather than a menacing bunch of talibans and wiggers...

  • @zeragito Racism & xenophobia? I didn't hear anything like KILL ALL THE N**GERS that would be racism, some people need to get a sense of humour, it's a comedy video you moron

  • @VigiIante racism does not have to be obvious to be there (especially English racism) and the narrator was not joking so there was nothing funny to laugh at the fact that his only representation of immigrants was as a threat and menace.

  • @zeragito Idiot, you obviously see "Racism" everwhere you look, you probably make money out of it too by waving your pack of imaginary race cards arounds and suing everyone who you perceive discriminates against you don't you? PC Idiots like you are the reason the far right are now getting elected to UK & EU parliament seats, this comedian is noted for LAMPOONING RACISM, he's an antifa activist and has mixed race children, your ignorance stinks, sort it out FOOL

  • @VigiIante I make millions suing people with imaginary race cards and you're next you stupid cunt:) Antifa activist eh? Mixed race kids? Then he should really be ashamed to portray immigrants as hordes of Pakis, Talibans and Wiggers (the bad influence of Hip Hop culture on English youth). The BNP couldn't have said it better. I reckon HE got them into the parliaments because he had a spat with his ex. partner/wife and went racist LOL! I'm entitled to my opinion and fuck off if you don't like it.

  • @zeragito Oh dear oh dear oh dear, you're still seeing this imagined "racism" arent you dear? those poor Talibaniwiggerpakis he slated awwwww

You're entitled to be a dullard and a twat but I'm equally entitled to call you out on your dullard twattishness whenever you make dull twattish opinionated exagerations aren't I, so congratulations pal, you've got yourself a new fan who'll follow you every move and go off like an air raid siren each time your dull twattish opinions are opined

    ; o )

  • @zeragito you're a twat

  • @franka91 you're a cunt.

  • @zeragito nah mate.

  • @franka91 lol yup.

  • @zeragito shh

  • @franka91 pphh

  • This music is making me Zzzzzzzzzz...

  • This will be history soon when we are all speaking Arabic this will be good to remember how we all used to speak

  • That was brilliant even if he didn't get them all 100% correct it really give you a good sweep of what the accents are like across the country. Love the pirate accent that's my favorite!

  • Lol im from Derby XD and my mate lives near Swad and her dad always says 'Alright duck?!'

  • Loool., being from Derby that was hilarious about the Duck.

  • It's a terrible shame, but it's said that the Cockney accent will have completely disappeared within 50 years or less, because of the amount of immigrants.

  • @KingDiamondHead Really isn't surprising.

England has been losing it's culture bit by bit thanks to immigrants.

  • @KingDiamondHead yeah bloody immigrants, why can't we all go back to old english the way we used to speak it before the bloody french came along!

  • I loved this video =D

I've been watching a few of these and I LOVE how everyone passes by the Hull accent. It's mine you see. Is it physically possible for someone not from Hull to speak Hull? Lol x

  • totally wrong on the Bristol accent. I was so hoping he's get it right, But I guess his west country,Devon,Cornish,Bristol didn't get much time on being worked out

  • it would have been better if the background music was softer or wasn't there at all

  • Wow there are so many variations. We just have 1 in Australia....we don't fuck around lol

  • @st3v0s actually maybe the reason we only have 1 accent in australia is precisely because we do fuck around! Maybe if we all kept to ourselves we'd end up like england and other places with lots of accents lol

  • Very good really. Its impossible to generalise even on regions. ie North Manchester & South Manchester are completely different, then you have Salford ect ect. 10 OUTA 10 FOR ENTERTAINMENT

  • Great vid

  • Really good except there are many different accents in Wales to you made it sound like there was only one.

  • not bad not bad :L

im from tipton in the midlands. were not as bad as the brummies though lmao :P

  • Haha pirates, yay

  • Nice job with the Yorkshire accent! But your Norfolk/Suffolk accent sounds more like a weaker version of the Devonian, it should sound like the Essex accent but with a slight twist. I'd like to hear you speak a Kentish accent! :)

  • i like the sussex accent the most. just curious what accent does michael caine have? i thought he was from wales but his accent doesn't sound welsh...

  • love the yorkshire/new york joke

  • @eaglesgogirl Totally agree with you.

  • hilarious

  • Shoulda jus done an east london accent for essex!!

  • Comment removed

  • @simplyshama It's not totally serious

    ; o )

  • @simplyshama excuse me you utter chav

essex has a really, really bad name when it's not as bad as it is made out.

I'm from essex and i'm not a chav , you can get chavs anywhere!!!! and no we don't say things like that you moron

  • @zoeisobel utter snob!***

  • what about an accent from Bath, UK?!!

  • @MlSTERSEANlE You sound so pissed off when you say "YORKSHAH".

  • "Man United? We're all Citeh fans 'ere mate!" ROFL

I am quite insulted that Bradford got more of a mention than Leeds though.

  • music is annoying!

  • Great job, loved the video

  • Damn! What a pity there's no the original vid on youtube any longer! So I'll be looking for this crack in the web until I find it...((((

  • Comment removed

  • Erm.....why did a picture of the jobcentre come up when he was doing an impression of south yorkshire?!

  • cause thats what its like there!

  • @Nadendegior LOL. Oh dear.
