@111fishkiller its right in the middle above where they throw the sharks look for the blackline goind forward...simple small drum with longline clips n short leaders....they had to be thick as fleas for that many to bite that short of leaders....you guys got that dialed in ....fuck the haters , they dont know what its like to have thhe size of your paycheck depend on how much fish you catch...
Governor Brown, California just past a law no shark fins can be sold. Before legally taken shark fins could be sold.
The radical enviro's were bitching that sharks were killed, fined and the sharks dumped, now the sharks are legally taken for the meat, but you have to dump the fin's......is it just me or is there something wrong with this BS.
The enviro's also claim 75 million sharks are killed every year in the world...well the shark take hasn't dropped, sharks are doing OK.
they dont say there are no sharks there saying that most sharks are endangered by carribien shark finning....the species that u were fishing looked like reef shrks.....one of the most abundant species found all around the world...so lets just ssay in some areas longlining sharks depleats them...and in some areas..(such as yours) the sharks are fine and longlining probably wont affect them too much..
@greatwhite1222 The sharks in this video are bullsharks, blacktips, spinners and lemon sharks. I have seen no shortage of any species of sharks where I have been fishing in Louisiana, Florida and North Carolina. I really don''t understand why the National Marine Fisheries are saying that there is a shortage of sharks in these areas.
Now NMFS is saying that the hammer head is endandered. I believe that they are trying to keep their high paying jobs and saying that this is overfished and this one is depleted. We don't have the money to back us like the Environmental Defense fund. Screw the nmfs
Great video again guys, doing the industry justice! Theres some sign of shark there! Great fishing id say. Im scowering job sites with the last week looking for a deckhand job in north america.
ive seen alot of your videos and share your views and opinions on fishing regulations on commercial fishing.and ive been tring to get on a boat since ive moved back to louisiana last dec. how do i do so as a deck hand. im willing to work for food and beer (free).do you need any help out there. i love being out on the water, and stay in st bernard. would all like any assistance. i would love to come. email at usermrk5179@aol.com or reply to comment.PLEASE
