Wow Sifu Sharif is probably one of my favorites since i started watching BT's vids. He is a beast and itd love to train with him someday and meet him. I think he embodies Hung Gar perfectly because he is very powerful and fast in everything he dos. True Gung Fu. genious4real To be honest i agree. as a practitioner of wing chun kung fu, as a boxer i do agree. BuT i am saying often times different disciplines offer different perspectives of fighting angling of attacks ect. i am sure BT will pick and choose. i am familiar with shotokan and i see your point, but bagua zhang deals alot with counters and trapping reverse punches / other punch combos. so BT has his techniques.

For one Nov and me are good friends and he comes and train at my boxing gym in Brooklyn from time to time sparring some of my fighters. One thing for sure I know Nov most likely going to use his Bagua for this upcoming bout, which I notice, deals with a lot of angling techniques as you point out. Bagua is a real interesting art; I like the footwork stuff they do to set up attacks. .

Most people can't see kungfu skill for what it is until they experience it first hand. What you don't see is that he is connected to his BTs center and he is pinning his arm. If you were to use a "reverse punch" he would be able to respond easily one he has the limb trapped.
