I thought i was the only one who remembered this show. Jonathon Winters and Bonnie Hunt were hilarious. I keep looking for a DVD or some site showing episodes.....but nothing. Hopefully someone will have it soon. Too funny to be lost to us fans forever.
this had one of the MOST memorable, funny lines-jonathan winters is introducing himself--"gunny davis,u.s.m..c.----uncle sam's miserable children"-this killed me-being the kid of a marine.....and my marine dad got a charge out of it,too.really funny show-wish it was on dvd!
This was one of my favorite shows. A hell of a cast- Randy Quaid and the legendary Jonathan Winters were already well established, but coming out of this show were also Patricia Clarkson, and eventually Bonnie Hunt and Giovanni Ribisi. Even two of the three kids ended up having pretty decent careers and are stiill working today. I know it's an obscure show, but you would think the name value alone of the cast would make it worth a DVD or classic-TV website release.
I was in the 5th grade when this show first came out damn i'm old lol

This was a great show. It should have lasted longer. :(

Interestingly, two lower-level ABC shows featured three people who'd work together a following year.
Angela Watson- who made a few appearances here, along with Staci Keanan and Christopher Castille of 'Going Places.'
All three ended up playing siblings on the Foster family side.

Angela Watson, who made a few appearances on this series, decided not to stay with this show, and went to another ABC show- Step By Step.
Smart decision- Angela starred on SBS for seven seasons, and was one of the most underappreciated TV hotties of the 1990s.
