Oh, Ms. Loretta brought me right in! :) ...and why is the choir ol' skool tight and full in sound + the simple accompaniment is saying so much per @hillarchives. God is so good! P(e)ace all.

  • its funny how some of the older song songs grab you from the begining.

  • Yes it is

  • @terrell7777 thats bcuz they were sung from the heart, out of true expirence of God's wonderful grace; unlike now those are sung for entaintment.

  • Whoever is playing that piano is making it smoke!!!! LOL!!!!

  • I think it is Jessy dixon

  • @blessedover Yes, you're right. I have the record... and it is SOOOO scratchy. LOL But it's Jessy.

  • Oh yes this is the Old school lol.

  • Lol

  • @jesusisreal15 The 1st time I heard the song, "The Lord Is Blessing Me," was back in 1950 when the Five Blind Boys recorded & made it a hit record. However, I'm sure it was "written" long before then. :-)

  • I believe that churches should still pay homage to the original gospel classics. These songs were sung in spirit and in truth. Let Everything That Hath Breath, Praise The Lord!!!! God Bless You Real Real Good.

  • SO TRUE

  • Amen!

  • This is with the Milton Brunson Singers!

  • Was this a separate group from the Tommies? I was too young to remember...lol

  • No the Chicago Community choir was a branch off of The Tommies. Jessy Dixon was the director of that one!

  • @wcta0608 The T C S changed their name to the tommie when Rev Brunson died.

  • This is so awesome!

I could listen to this over 'n over!!!
