Hello Andreas. Yes it's me! Sorry i haven't commented for a long time. I had a temporary job the last 6 months and I've just finished, so I've enjoyed watching all the videos of yours that I had missed. This one in paticular is brilliant. The lyrics are stupendous.
It great to see you again and I hope you had a great summer.
If I hold my breath and watch the stars then I feel high. But I started breathing in too many stars and somehow I knew that very soon I may have to say goodnight to you. Now my heart is filled with fading stars and I can't remember how to hold my breath.
That was great! I love the lyrics you write deep poetry in your lyrics,I wish I could do that but I just can't I always stay so simple with the words just simple love songs. I dig what you do Andreas. Your music is alive too,Love the way you play your guitar you capture a sound all our own,a great folk pop sound. I like to watch you play too on the fretboard. Nice my buddy! Love that ending too going up the frets sweet sound! You got it my bro,so glad you're my Earth friend. :)))
thanks so much dear Rick my buddy! I appreciate you listening so attentively and also realizing the details, it means a lot to me! your words encouraging to go on... but I must say I love your "simple" love songs as well. I use " because I think this "simple" sounding lyrics need a particular talent - for my feel it's terribly difficult to write simple but so good(!) songs - as you do! they're kinda timeless. this my "new" 100$ alvarez, love her deep and full sound, tuned down to DGC 2 steps. :)
Hey Andreas!! Amazing Lyrics first of all...you really a very gifted in your songwriting and the song itself is a true treasure!! Excellent work my friend!! :-)
hi Louise, thanks very much for your kind words! glad you appreciate it! :) (ps: I was more surprised than proud this was my ~3rd song without texting help by a native speaker)
Wow, and wow again! Terrific writing that gives great cause for pause, Andreas. Third time round listening and feel like I just might have to go round a few more times. Really delivered the goods on this one. Brings to mind a bit of the Moody Blues. Right into favs where it belongs. All the best. ~ Mark
hi Mark, thanks so much for your generous comment, sorry for being late! I very appreciate your opinion and glad you liked and faved it!! good chance to check out the Moody Blues again, thanks for the hint! wishing you a great weekend friend!! :o))
unfolding it's gown....fragile, yes.....this is a sixties cosmic journey myFriend...i need to hear this again and again...and a wonder of surprise and further anticipation at journey's end! Thanks Bear;)
hi Louise, gosh I'm flattered you liked it so much! thanks so much for appreciating and for fav and feature! I really get nervous, lol! hope you're alright!! :))
I have to agree with Oswlek, very creative progression. I really like it, the melody and lyrics fit great together, which is something I struggle with. Wonderful songwriting.
thanks heaps James, I really appreciate it!! ahah, I never noticed you would have these troubles - even if you tell me I can hardly believe it, lol! (anyway, a song like this I don't get too often...)
Normal communication is riddled with complications, but here, being certain you understand the other person who normally speaks another language and lives in another culture is very tricky and problematic indeed! It's completely worth it for me, though! I have gained so much from the process and from reaching for and clasping the hands of the kindred strangers who have become my friends.
I love the song, Andreas! So artfully and beautifully done. So true!
thanks so much Nancy, I'm glad you appreciate it, and thanks for the check-up again!! I think there are 2 kinds of "Babylon": one between the different languages and cultures, and one within our own, from one person to the other... understanding is a reflection of heaven for sure...

@marywinmusic you can't stop breathing for too long time. if you try to keep them, they fade. when you let them go, they'll come back. ;)

Some creative chord progression in this one. Just when I felt I had a handle on it, you'd toss in something new.

thanks heaps Justin! sometimes I screw through the chords anyhow and wonder myself what comes out in the end...
