@ElBribri he's a spy from Zaftra that replaced the real Wagner. But it's not known what happened to the old one.

Sadly FM4 was never really finished so we will never get an answer to that.

The problem with "traditional" Front Mission gameplay is that is doesn't do the Wanzers justice; I mean, just look at this video, what they're capable of, and then compare it to how they're portrayed in the actual gameplay. It's almost a crime to make the robots that awesome in cutscenes, then make them slow-moving, easy to break, hard to hit anything statues that, in FM3 at least, can't even crush a foot soldier without several turns worth of effort.

As for offiical English available Front Mission games.. I say this is the best... Front Mission Evolve.. turn the whole game into a generic forgetable mecha/3rd person shooter.

@fragmentsofdead I was thinking the exact same thing, later on in the game they attack the Azores Islands from my native Portugal. In one point they hit one of my friends regions in Poland, and one other friend loved the game's other plot taking place in Venezuela.

Kudos to any Dr.Obvious who tries to point out the unrealistic or believable nature of a video game. When of course video games are most always fictional, why? because most people are too bored of the real world to give a shit about games made to completely replicate them.

Well if you generalize it like that then you can make almost everything sound like that. There are huge differences between Link and Mario just like there are differences between Front Mission 4 and other Mech games... I'll admit that Mech games do kinda blend after a while, but I think FM4 is a great series because of its turn based strategy gameplay.

@Galherios sure, but still, I wouldn't call them believable. Most modern military analysts agree that bipedal mechs will have very little purpose in warfare. However, I do certainly think that bipedal mechs will have a purpose in the construction and engineering industry.

@ArsenalSPT Yes, that the aspect I love the most. They look like that they are real. They don't fly and have super-hero color schemes or wings on the back or something. Wanzers look like real military hardware. AND I LOVE THEM!

LoZ and Mario where great for their gameplay, the storyline in both was rather average. More-so in Mario, by todays standards the story is parody. Front Mission has great gameplay, I love the series. But the story (like most that come out of Japan today) is riddled with cliches and stereotypes. Maybe less-so than many games today, but still enough to become rather nauseating after a point.
