3 of 3: I believe this situation can only prevail based on the law of Karma: sentient beings of today have a very strong karmic link to DS, causing the reason for him to remain with us regardless of the obstacles and controversy we have to face.

2 of 3: Despite the obstacles surrounding DS practice, sincere DS upholders have risen and caused our protectors practice to flourish internationally. In fact, DS is the only Dharma Protector who has received so much publicity on his own account!

1 of 3: There are different ways of teaching Dharma to suit the different minds of the students. As mentioned, Buddha Shyakamuni gave 84,000 teachings to reach the various mind levels of his students. Trijang Rinpoche has chosen to teach his students DS' practice because, I believe in his highly attained mind, DS is very suitable to protect and develop Dharma practice & growth during these times:

Dharma is for the benefit of ALL sentient beings regardless of their background, culture and nationality. It is exciting that Buddhadharma has reached such distance and touched so many individuals' lives. It is very inspiring to witness the testimonies of practitioners who practice Dorje Shugden steadily and sincerely. No wonder highly attained Dharma masters like Trijang Rinpoche encourage and uphold the practice of Dorje Shugden!

I believe Buddhism transcends all races and cultures. How can it be just for one indigenous culture? Buddha was Indian. Does it mean that only Indians can practise Buddhism? i don't think any of the great Buddhist Masters anywhere in the world would think so either. Rejoice that so many people in so many countries are learning about Dharma and benefiting themselves and others.

Unless you're the person's guru, it is not for you to tell them they're wrong. Best thing to do is to choose your path based on logical examination of YOUR guru's teachings, and let us choose ours...both sides deal with their own karma. If you believe DS practitioners are wrong, just have compassion for them :)

@lincong1: What indigenous culture? If you're referring to Buddhism, Buddhism isn't confined solely to the Tibetans, or to Asians or Easterners. Buddha taught for everyone, for 84000 types of delusions. No one is less deserving of happiness than anyone else, whether Western or Eastern...human is human, suffering is suffering. Whether someone chooses Dorje Shugden as their practice or not, is a personal choice.

there's no doubt that Dorje Shugden is a Protector of the Doctrine. Look at all his affiliations. From the Highest ruling Lamas such as HH Trijang Rinpoche to Societies, Buddhist centres and even normal people like us come under his watchful care.

What more is there to ask from such a loving protector in these degenerate times?

Not much. I think it's quite incredible how wide a range of people Dorje Shugden looks after...so wide that only an enlightened Being could handle it. And with this ban, he and the other enlightened Being (the Dalai Lama!) are really using skilful means to get Dorje Shugden's name and practice out there. Speaking of skilful means hey, did you see the Serpom Monastery website?

I just read about it on the dorjeshugden{DOT}com forum. These monks are incredible...they're constantly studying and debating under the pressure of the ban, AND they practise by actively harnessing modern technology to promote their practice. And even then, they don't even push their protector practice in your face. If you go and check out their site (serpommonastery{DOT}org), it's all about the dharma and little about DS...very very inspirational.

If DS's practice is so bad, how come so many high lamas engage in his practice? They have the ominiscience to distinguish between spirit and enlightened Being...and here we have proof that the great Kyabje Trijang Dorejchang did DS practice. In fact, Trijang Rinpoche, Dagom Rinpoche etc. all reincarnated back, desite DS practice being deemed very bad. How come so many DS practitioners' incarnations were recognised by HHDL himself?

Dorje Shugden is amazing! Lamas have tried to kill him over and over again since the time of the Great Fifth, and he's still around! That tells me he has no karma to be killed, which tells me he's enlightened! It also tells me the lamas are so kind to show us his enlightened nature over and over again!

If Trijang Rinpoche, such a accomplished being orders Dorje Shugden to assist people, then even ordinary ppl can recieve the benefits.

Because Dorje Shugden will follow the command of Trijang Rinpoche. Just like Nechung shows respect to Dalai Lama.

Yes, a true lord of accomplishment as Trijang Rinpoche benefits because he has power over spirits, but when ordinary people seeks its protection, then its like playing with fire.. Why fight over a questionable and truely debatable spiriit, when all gelugpas can benefit in coming together within the mandala of his holiness the dalai Lam????

this is the first time I have ever heard Trijang Rinpoche's voice... how auspicious that it is him doing the Kangso prayers. Also how great that we live in an age where an invention such as the internet exists, whereby Buddhists can connect from all over the world and share their love for great masters such as Trijang Rinpoche and for the prayers of Dorje Shugden!
