I am searching for a very realistic high resolution texturepack.

The ones that catched my attention in this video was the Bumbmaft texturepack and the Bordercraft texturepack.

None of the Bumbmaft texturepacks are up to date. They do not support the 1.8 update.

Bordercraft 128x128 HD is filled with some bugs (small pink squares and stuff on every each of the smooth stone) and the cursor aim is missing. The 64x64 and 32x32 resolutions have some of the cursor aim missing, which annoys me a lot!

i like using texture patches, but i have one problem, i download them, use mcpatcher to patch them into game, but they are supposed to be in a list under the texture packs and mods thing, but when i got to it it only has the original and i keep having to repatch the game in order use new texture patches, can ANYONE help me plz???

Hey, if you like cartoon/comic/anime themed texture packs, you should try Sphax. It comes in all resolutions(16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, and higher) and its honestly amazing. I can't stop using it, I found it yesterday :) Didn't feel like linking so just google 'Sphax minecraft' lol. (I recommend the 128x version, as it is priviledged, also it is the ONLY texture pack above 64x that I can run smoothly, give it a try!)

@iMinecraft4 I use screen flow now. This was one of my first videos and I used the default codex to compress this video and also I used some crappy free software of the internet to record. Now I use Screen flow and a X248 codex and I have no Issues with recording in HD.

@dillon4968 The house is no longer with us. I corrupted the save file a long time ago. But it was built the traditional way out of a hole in the wall and slowly block by block over time. It was first constructed back in 1.1.2 and was with me until 1.3. In short, it was just me being ocd about composition. Now i just play with mods and redstone so I miss my uncorrupted days before single player commands. But You can not go back after having a tast of the Dark side.
