John hjad wanted to leave the group in 1967 and had been making it known. However, Paul releasing RAM, his first solo album, really was the last straw towards the band's breakup. It infuriated John.
John was an aggressive person and I think that many of things like leaving The Beatles were not done by himself but by Yoko. When she showed up John was paying more attention to her and he was not agreed of the songs Paul wrote.
God, the dialogue is terrible between John, Paul,George and Ringo...laughable even. "I'm not supposed to tell you, but I'm leaving the group." Really. John's apparently gone looney. Must be the stuff, man.
I don't know where those accents are meant to be from, but they're definitely not from liverpool! (Well with the exception of Pauls). Johns is particularly bad!

Peoples' interest often get the better of them and he probably hired the movie and sat up in bed with some munchies and watched to see how accurate it was. some scenes are good, some not. I can't decide if I like this film or not. I think mainly its bad as they got that heather mills lookalike to play linda.
This film does bring up ONE good point:as of today there is absolutely NO scientific evidence that a vegetarian diet prevents cancer or helps in the treatment thereof. Vegetarians get cancer at about the same rate as NON-vegetarians, period. Linda-having NO educational background in medicine nor nutrition-had indeed been selling the public that a vegetarian diet did just that, to promote her line of food products.
What this film DOESN'T tell you is that Linda's refusal to take anti-cancer medications UNLESS she was assurred the meds HAD NOT been prior tested on animals no doubt WORSENED her cancer. Paul finally had to LIE to her to get her to start taking medication.
