As a Catholic, it's obvious Fr. Corapi was a diocesan priest and not a religious order priest. The diocesan priests are third-rate priests who really don't give up anything to serve their lives to God. Priests who belong to a religious order take a vow of poverty and they sacrifice much more than the diocesan priests who eat at fine restaurants and drive fancy cars. Most, if not all, of the child molestation incidents were committed by diocesan priests and not religious order priests.
@legalman1980 And you wonder why you don't have priests to serve your parishes? This attitude is vicious. I've lived and served alongside both religious order priests and diocesan priests. I currently serve in a parish and live alone. There are great and holy men in both diocesan and religious priesthood; and there are weak men in both. There is selfishness and extravagance in both. Cases of child abuse come from both--Google the cases.
People are waking up to the fact that religion is just too stupid to bother with.

Fabulous, it is so sad how someone so used of God can fall so hard.

@VictorLepanto So we must try to help him up, and beg God to make him well again.
