oh well i have a jailbroken ipod and if i get the new software i will lose it do you know if to get the push there is any other way?

the 3.0 jailbreaking software is available if I'm not mistaken. There's a few walkthrough vids on YouTube already on how to do this.

yeah. It works over wifi on the ipod touch as long as you've updated to firmware 3.0 (which I think is $10 for Touch owners)and you've installed or updated to BeejiveIM 3.0 in the app store.
