In my experience, I used WinBubble to increase my Startup, Shutdown SPEED, there's a guy who made a complete video, just search it in youtube. there are many options.One thing that gave a difference is disabling multiple monitor configuration(3-7sec), lessen shutdown time(15 sec),Increase bandwidth for internet and tweaks like MOVE TO or COPY TO and many many more. also, if you have some commands that you don't want to memorize you can create a Button for that inside the application. Cool right?

The Core i7 Extreme whatever, that was $1000 was replaced with a newer core i7 for $1000 that is a Hexicore. It has 6 cores. Therefore, The EVGA sr2 motherboard, supports 2 1366 sockets, So 2 Core i7 Hexicores for $2000 with 6 cores each =12 cores.

You're wrong, it doesn't make Vista faster, because by default Vista already uses all processors and all available memory. What you can do with these switches is RESTRICT how many processors or memory Vista uses, which is often done for diagnostics purposes.
