Kuraz the Light Monarch that the stongest monster in my deck and the only monster that have more then 4 star lol i never like using high lvl monsters :/
in the current meta with formula running rampant...you could pitch for 2 fishborgs...sack for kuraz and then u get 2 more draws....and you could throw another crap card and go into formula...the problem with kuraz is you dont get to swing no matter what
In the current Monarch build that I have (Chaos Monarchs), Kuraz is good because you can use it with Reckless Greeds, which you can chain them before they get destroyed, allowing you to draw more cards than just two. Card Trooper is good for dumping him into the grave so you can use Monster Reborn to bring him back and destroy Card Trooper and Reckless Greed (which you can chain to) so you can draw 5 cards in a turn. In my deck, once Kuraz hits the field, no one gets a turn afterwards :)
The only draw back to this card is that he can't attack when you tribute summon him. Which it's quite annoying if your opponent has no cards on his/her field & you can't direct damage your oppoent. :(
I run two Kuraz in my experimental deck. They work well with soul exchange since it can't attack anyway. Also works well with yubel monsters as you can upgrade them further and draw cards at the same time.
@kihano7 Side deck Kuraz and Soul Exchange. The thing is, while the combo is amazing, Kuraz is often times inconsistent. I used to love Kuraz, and it's always among my 15 side decked, but Monarchs are meant to swarm, beatdown, and win quickly. While Kuraz can turn the tide, I find Jinzo or Prime Material to help me out more than Kuraz. Run morphing jar for draw power, but trust me giving your opponent the hand power hurts you more than you think. Raiza and Caius is where its at.
@MonsterCardZone That's very true. I ran monarchs before and i found that prime material or jinzo were more consistant and just better to pull out than kuraz. I stick to the monarchs that wont give my opponent a hand advantage, such as raiza or caius.
