lol i know you said this about a month ago but i'm ordering my p2 tonight and i wanted the white but realised its £40 (which is like 70-80 USD) more than the black! and the wine red on is even more expensive! Lol, i'm a little annoyed about that but oh well, they are the same.
do i have to update all the firmwares on to my p2 to use all the additional features, or is it just ok if i only have the latest firmware but still have the data transfer feature and stuff like that, which came in the old firmware?
no, its like a bluetooth headset, it has a mic. on the bottom and the sound is heard thru your headphones. i dont think you can txt with it. but still the idea of being able to tlk thru an mp3 player is so cool. you can also do file transfers from your phone to your p2.

The choice is yours, use an overpriced device with crippled features, or get a device nearly half the price with much more features.
I have a question. Is it possible to send an SMS over your P2 via bluetooth? cause that would be slamming. also, is is possible to make a call to a friend with your p2 without even touching your phone?
as my last question, i was wondering if it be possible to have a bluetooth usb-stick to connect with the p2 and that the p2 can listen to the songs on the stick live, without having to save them onto your own memory.

hehe... well, I am a Korean Boy... (proudly) my dad invented the bluewave firmware, therefore, the firmware is more advanced in Korea than it is in USA... Thank you for using our Samsung YP-P2 and notice that Samsung is a Korean Company!^^
Oh one more question, I know you mentioned the mic on the bottom, but does it for sure work? Because I get phone calls quuite frequently and I want to make sure that the mic works before I use the mic on P2 to talk through.
I recently updated P2's firmware with the december upgrade. It didn't so all it was suppose to do, I only got some of the features like the mobile phone feature,the address book, and the new interface on the now playing. I didn't get al the others it said it'll do. Is this I should be concerned about.
I tried upgrading the firmware but wouldnt wrk. I tried doing both thru samsung media studio says it cant update right now. The other way you showed thru their website I was unable to drop it into the folder doesnt seem to have any folder drop just say sync or close apps. HELP

Comparing sony to Samsung is like comparing dialup to broadband.
sony is pretty much falling from the "good brands" list onto the budget list. Samsung has been #1 consumer electronics brand since 2005.
