@skullzcrusher Yep. I'm from Montreal. Poo-Tsin is the french way to pronounce it, which is also the proper way. If you want to say it the "Quebec" way, you gotta say "Poo-Tain".
@angeloftearsx wow arent you a ball of angry bitchiness. I am canadian and im proud i speak 3 languages almost perfectly well including FRENCH and italian. French is a hard language to master and learn, dont get pissed off cause you cant speak it. God your the idiot, and dont diss poutine.
In my land we eat only curries and Sag Gosht. I would not even feed this "poutine" stuff to my pet water-buffalo "Steve"!
And especially- that Yvette Poutineplace in HuntingdonQuebec is truly abhorrent! She looks like a clown, and her video of poutine making is becoming a "viral" joke in my country. We are all chuckling at it.
My nephew, when he goes to Canada, eats vegetarian Poutine at a place called "Leblanc Patate" in Huntingdon.
This place has been in operation for 386 years! And all they serve are poutine with achewing-gum flavour! -the "special secret sauce" has chewing gum in it!
@mrsgupta Exuse me?! Thats only ONE place that serves that! Try not to judge so quickly by one single resturant! Try other resturants that other people reccomend. Not all of us are savages you fat ass american!
it was a video of a girl mistreating a old woman on a bus and the lady was minding her own business. I was on a bus Miami and this woman went off on a the bus driver because the bus schedule was changed.
I'm Canadian and I've been living in the united states for 9 years for high school and college and some Americans are nice but some of them are crazy I found a video of a girl mistreating an old woman.Another thing not all Americans are attractive I don't hate America or think it suck's it's an okay country.
@zarth4 >>some of them are crazy I found a video of a girl mistreating an old woman.<<<
Was she forcing the poor old lady to eat "Poutine"? That is what my nephew Pushtab did to me before I beat him back with the branch of a Upanishad tree!
But the poutine was probably from Yvette's in Huntingdon. They fly Yvette's Poutine out to Bangalore and Hyderabad every second Wednesday. Apparently they cannot get enough of it there! Disgusting!
Why have eleven people disliked this video? This video is awesome. I would run a rusty blade across my best friends throat to find actual poutine in Virginia.
Poutine is apparently one of the top 10 most fattening foods. I don't know how true that is but I wouldn't doubt it with deep fried french fries, salty gravy (if real, probably has lots of fat content) and a massive pile of cheese curds. Not to mention when you get poutine at a restaurant that knows how to make the good stuff it usually covers a dinner plate! I absolutely love poutine but I have it as a treat once in a while so the fat and salt content aren't an issue.
@halonerd04 Well you just answered why in your comment. You are only 15 and probably have a high metabolism. Most kids who are active don't gain too much weight from junk food. So hopefully it is because you are active. Trust me, it catches up (me patting my stomache, lol.), if not weight wise, heart wise. Don't get me wrong, poutine rules. I've been skating for over 20 yrs (skateboarding) and I use to be able to eat anything and never gain a pound, but now I'm not as active.
@MegaVesper04 u make a good point there and i am fairly active i am planning on getting a drumset during the summer so ill just work off a little bit of fat i gained from xbox if not ill just go swim at the beach for a couple of hours lol
@halonerd04 Weird, I have played drums for a long time. Use to play in a death metal band. All that speed drumming does make you sweat, lol. Well, cheers to poutine and playing drums!!
@MegaVesper04 Thats the same with me :) If I dont make a low-fat one at home for myself (which you should try it tastes better without the salt) I treat me and my friends to one at a resturant.
This video would be great for the Canada’s Got Treasures collection, which aims to feature Canadian videos of personal or cultural significance. ''poutine'' is french slang for ''mess''... the inventor put leftover cheese curds and BBq sauce with fries. His friend looked at it and said ''we'll you've got quite a mess'' (poutine).... and it was born!
Real poutine has St alberts cheese curds from St Albert Ontario. Poutine does not have shredded cheese. When you take a bite of real poutine, you should feel the cheese curds "squeaking" on your teeth. Anyone who has had a real poutine knows what I'm talking aboot.

A good poutine is judged first and foremost by its SAUCE.
If it's bad, the WHOLE poutine suffers.
Example, Belle Province's sauce = way too salty, St-Hubert, Benny, McD, almost all known chains.
Best is homemade one. I recommend Knorr sauce, it's REALLY, really good. Don't buy Cordon Bleu and the worst, St-Hubert (can AND pouch)!
(I swear I'm not a Knorr rep!)
