Our birthday is also a death day as we come closer to the end of another cycle of rebirth if we have not broken the chains of attachment by entering the state beyond the waking, dreaming & sleeping, or turya – the fourth state, the whiteness consciousness. However, final liberation will occur when the body is shed.
