it kinda does. I think you might be mixing up the sound of the saw with a slide guitar or lap guitar. They do sound somewhat similar

Thanks, I have practiced since the BGT audition. No its just a normal saw - still has blunt teeth to make it look authentic - I bow on the flat edge with a cello bow. I have bought this particular saw from America. Its specifically made for playing music, but it is possible to play on any saw. If you have a saw then try it out. Its great fun!!!
