I don't think that Cornish will die. After all, Hebrew was almost a dead language but the Jewish people cared too much about it to let it die. I think the same will be the case with all the Celtic languages, really :D
i usually only come on here when im drunk or bored so the whole angry young man stuff comes out in my posts and the one u replied to is particularly embarassing lol
I think you are reffering to Reawla , rather than Reawli , i live near there, anyway , good video , and lumona , what language would you give tuition on.
Really? My name comes from Kernow I think. Rule in Cornish is Rewl and Reawli is a place in Kernow.... I've been told. I'm not 100% sure though. Have you any interest in Kernow and the language at all?
... by the way, any word ending with -va is fem. therefore 'an bysva' is the mutated form of 'pysva'. Pysa = to urinate. Other words used for 'pysva': chi-byghan; privedhyow

Btw, not a lot of people in Ireland are fluent Irish speakers. My family speak English but I learnt Irish in school. I have good Irish but wish to improve it.
Welsh is hard yes but as with all languages, they take perserverence! how many people speak Irish in Éire? make a video as a responce this video or one of my others if you like. I love Manx by the way :)
I'd say that's about right. If you notice, there are alot of vowels in Manx as with the Brythonic languages. Are you keen on other languages or just Irish and Scots?
I don't like anything Russian. They cheated Wales out of the European Cup 3 years ago and they're still not forgiven. I studied French and German though but I'd love to be fluent in all Celtic languges
Many apologies but I'm finding Gaelic difficult at the moment. Could you write the above message in English so I have the Gaelic as a reference also. Sorry once again. Are you speaking Irish, Scots or Manx too? It's not Manx actually!
Im sorry! Ok, in English « I must wait? Well... ah, it is fine. Maybe, I will make a video in Irish!!! But Im not fluent yet! :( » Nope. I only speak Irish but I can understand Scottish Gaelic but Manx is weird! Actually Welsh is pretty difficult, no?
I dont know much about it really. Isnt it a bit like Welsh and Breton? I heard Breton when I was staying in Brittany and it was strange. Sounds like French though.
you're adorable. hair and all.

I have some sympathy for you, but if you march around wearing orange, you're not going to make it with anyone.
Seriously, you need to keep anger out of your posts if you want the world to start sympathizing with the Northern Irish.

Manx is apparantly in the same family as Irish and Scottish but is heavily influenced by Brythonic languages.

Oh I love French! I studied it for about seven years now. I also love Russian which I started in October. I study both in college.

Haha! Quit holding grudges! Russian is such a cool language! Have you tried Breton yet?
Lunoma 4 years ago
I've looked at Breton and I've got a book with Breton-Welsh so yes. It's good. You? How old are you if you're studying in college?
stecymru14 4 years ago
Im 19. Do you have MSN? If yes, I will give it to you in a private message.
Lunoma 4 years ago
@stecymru14 About 150,000 speakers. That's an honest number, rather than the official 1.5 million on record. I'm a fluent Irish speaker.
