Hum sorry to burst your bubble but SUN, HP and IBM have been doing distributed visualization for years.

And they have much more than a couple of half assed promo videos and a "white paper" to show for it.

SGI was a great company, key word "was."

The demo that was at GEOINT in Nashville looked alot different then your standard distibuted viz, and it seems more flexable and faster then the others. My 2 cents worth
