That is standard Army procedure. Weapons are issued once you are downrange. At that point, soldier carries nearly all the time.

The Quran forbids swearing allegiance to anything but Allah. The Quran does allow lying to improve your position to overcome the infidel. The US military is wrong to allow Muslims to enlist. The facts are plain and it is not discrimination to disallow Muslim recruits.

Honestly, I almost agree. Don't get me wrong, not all Muslims are that strict about their religion. However, it is true that allegiance for Muslims is to Allah first and foremost, and when a Muslim is a devout one then he would be at a conflict of interest if he is to be deployed to fight against other Muslims in the name of the USA or whatever other country. So either don't allow Muslims to enlist, although that will open a can of worms. Or don't deploy them for combat in Muslim countries.

Character limit: ... (cont from previous post), although that would open another can of worms in opening a precedent where soldiers can make all sorts of excuses to avoid being deployed, siting random religious or otherwise reasons as to why they shouldn't be deployed.

I don't know what the solution to this is. I guess some common sense on the soldiers' part would go a long way. If you believe a conflict of interest will arise from you enlisting with the military then simply don't enlist.
