Fantastic racing and a great era. I have many of the "Duke" tapes, '94 to 2000. Eventually it all changed and I lost interest. Some of the older race series are the best and can't be equaled, CanAm, DTM and BTCC. Love it. Thanks for the video.

Steve Soper won the nurburgring 24 hrs and the spa 24 hrs and has competed successfully at LeMans numerous times. Cleland, however, is a cunt and it's know wonder he never got asked to do anything outside of Touring Cars because, yes, you guessed it. HE'S A CUNT!
@bugattieb110ss I think that is a little harsh - JC was one of the best Touring Car drivers of the generation, although when he was under pressure he did show a gritty side. As for not being invitied to any other championship this is wrong, he was invited to race in both Australia and did a couple of seasons of British GT. I agree he isn't for everyone but he was an exceptional touring car driver.
Yep, you're correct in that he was invited to Oz. Sounds glamorous but it was 'guest appearances' at Bathurst where he did fuck all but winge. They quickly realised he was a miserable winghing jock with a massive chip on his shoulder and sent the cunt back home! 'A couple of seasons of British GT' ...No, he did the the odd 'guest appearance' in a Dodge Viper where he repeated his touring car behaviour of being a miserable winghing jock cunt with a massive chip on his shoulder.!
