Hit this today from an outside collar tie. Really stepped out deep towards knee tap side. Was really surprised at how much exertion was needed to hit it.
I think this is a outstanding takedown, I like the chaining moves in BJJ. I like the switch from the first takedown to the second takedown, what I like also is the switch from triangle to an armbar.
@James92802 the tap on the knee is like the cherry on top for this takedown. the majority of the actual takedown itself is done by rushing into your opponent. by doing so you are making him basically have to backpedal. then when he is backpedaling you block his far knee so that he cannot use it to step and he falls over.
the name "knee tap" is a bit misleading. it should really be called a "knee block"

i knee tapped guys a bunch tonight, GSP and Kos use it a lot I think its one of the highest % takedowns.
