It does take a long time to ship, but the reason I have it is because I get to play games I wouldn't normally get to. Like LA noire. I'd never buy a game like that which is basically done after you beat it. I buy games like halo and forza and gamefly games like la noire and assassin's creed.

Why don't you go with the blockbuster game pass unlimited. Even though its 1 at a time deal. You can walk and grab it yourself instead of waiting 1-2 weeks for a game.
Gamefly is based in LA so if you live in CA or southern CA, youll get your games quicker. Im in San Diego and my games come in about 2 or 3 days but thats because LA is only a few hours away. I dont suggest there service if your on the East coast until they expand a bit tho. Most negative reviews come from the East Coasters or out of sate folk so it explains why.

They say that when you send a gameback some post offices have a scanner to scan the package and then it sends that to gamefly. Well when i sent brothers in arms back, the next day they got it. when i sent assassins creed back i nvr got a txt message.
I tried the free 10 day trial, sent both games back at the post office at the same time, they received only 1 and are going to charge me for the game that was lost in the mail. The 2 game free trial is going to turn out to cost me $50, which is absolute bullshit.
i live in new york and i get games from gamefly from austin, texas and i return them to pittsburg, pennsylvania. i thought that was strange but its ok. i got my games in 3 days.

Gamefly is based in LA so if you live in CA or southern CA, youll get your games quicker. Im in San Diego and my games come in about 2 or 3 days but thats because LA is only a few hours away. I dont suggest there service if your on the East coast until they expand a bit tho. Most negative reviews come from the East Coasters or out of sate folk so it explains why.

Dude we understand it "Doesnt work for you..." Difference between Netflix and Gamefly...People dont watch a movie for about 3 weeks, which is usually the minimum it takes someone to complete a game. Just go buy the games.

I just signed up on Saturday night so I expect them to ship on Monday. I live 40 minutes away from the LA distribution center so I expect 1-2 day waits. Anybody have any comments on service IN LA?

I do agree I used to have gamefly service and like you said except I didn't get mine until about 2-3 weeks after they were supposed to be send and I live in New Hampshire, just a couple of states away. What I don't understand is how games can take 2-3 weeks when I write letters out to California to a friend of mine and it takes about 1 week to get out there. It's either the mailing system or it's just where we're located.

its not pointless i have it and i get 2 games from it i might start getting 3 or 4 soon but 60 bucks is alot for a game that u may not like 25$ is perfect and u keep it for as long as u want so 25$ is a nice amount for brand spankin new games that just game out and they get games like the most a week b4 they come out gf is a nice service to have i live in wilmington nc and they get to me in about 2-3 days. i rather pay 25 than 60 for a new game too right now im playing darksiders and bayonttea.

Well, when games ARE shipped out i get mine within 2 days. However when a new game comes out, they take forever to release it and blame it on the company the game is by. I know very well the game is in stores, they just don't want to take responsibility.

it does suck. it's slow and overpriced. there was one month were I only got 2 games from them and i kept each of them for 4 days. i only re-activate when they offer a 10 dollar month or something and then i cancel when it's over.

i dont see how gamefly is still in buisness. its the worst online renting service out there. 1 fken reason is it takes frikennnn so long to get and if you order a game that is on low avalibity which is about every game you want to rent , then it takes another day to pick the next game on ur list. also why the hell dont they have gamefly employees working on saturdays. not having saturdays messes it alll up so bad. its not ev en worth it. after i rent assassins creed 2 and dont return it , imdone

Dont feel bad, Im in Brooklyn, New york and they take 1 week if im lucky to send a game. I spend more time waiting for a game than actually playing the game. And please dont let the game suck, That means you waited 1-2 weeks for a game now you have to send it back and for them to receive a game takes a minimum (again if you are lucky) of 4 business days. And Ive been a member since 2006 and its only gotten worse. They do not like residents of NYC or Jersey apparently

They say that when you send a gameback some post offices have a scanner to scan the package and then it sends that to gamefly. Well when i sent brothers in arms back, the next day they got it. when i sent assassins creed back i nvr got a txt message.

I tried the free 10 day trial, sent both games back at the post office at the same time, they received only 1 and are going to charge me for the game that was lost in the mail. The 2 game free trial is going to turn out to cost me $50, which is absolute bullshit.
