  • I liked Elaine's straight hair episodes :)

  • hahahahaha this has to be a deleted scene, what episode was this from???

  • @Bak3dB3an Only the greatest tv show ever. If you don't "get it" then you're less than a human being and need to stop breathing immediately.

  • @John19182004

It's stupid. No one likes this... bitch.

Not breathing for liking a series? Wow, you really are tv brain washed.

  • @Bak3dB3an You're a dumb series.

  • Steinbrenner didnt know how to play himself jajajaja

  • elaine looks great with that haircut.

I dont get it sometimes she looks smokin other times not so much

  • I believe it's a deleted scene.

  • Anyone catch Julia sort of chuckling after the first part at the restaurant with Steinbrenner?

  • I'm kinda glad they didn't air the scenes since its different than the other scenes with Steinbrenner in it, and then it would have been hard to adjust back

  • Laney needs a cooler.

  • why have i never seen this...

  • 2:20--yeah, if there is one thing (or, 2 things! ;-)) really sexy on Julia Louis-Dreyfus (other than her face), it's her feet. :-) Just look her up on here. There are a few phone commercials from the early-2000's where she went barefoot. And there is this "New Adventures of Old Christine" promo (from '07, I think) where she is lying on the ground outside of her pad trying to get her house keys by using one of her high-heel shoes. Mmmmmmmmmm!!!!! Those peds of hers are nice & creamy white.

  • Elaine Benes is gorgeous.

  • Everyone missed this cameo because it NEVER aired on television.

They actually aired promos on NBC showing George Steinbrenner on the show the week it was supposed to air & there was a lot of media attention on the cameo, but they just cut it out at the last minute. I like when they switch seats & they have Elaine doing the fake Steinbrenner bit to Steinbrenner.

  • i love Elaine!

  • Larry fired him after this

  • Seven. This sucked.

  • Was this a deleted scene?

  • @rileyalex yes it was a deleted scene

  • @rileyalex ye.....larry thought steinbrenner was terrible and it didnt fit the episode (larry meant no disrespect)

    thats tv

  • not funny... larry david was dead on

  • I can see why they cut this, not funny...

  • @WildCardB1TCHESYeHaa i agree... hes a terrible actor...

  • @droppinsumfudge Yeah, but Al Davis was Humphrey Bogart.

  • thats strange i thought i saw all the episodes, i dont remember this at all

  • Episode?

  • 6 people have a bad taste in comedy.

  • Comment removed

  • @Theburn77 lies, Steinbrenner only didnt like the fact that George Costanza was named George... cuz he thought his character was named after him for havin the same first name, to make fun of him. They cut steinbrenners cameo, cuz they thought it wasnt funny

  • Comment removed

  • @Theburn77 I have the seinfeld series on dvd, and on the Bonus Disc "The roundtable" they all discuss stuff about the show and they spend about 10 minutes talking about how they just didnt put it in because it wasnt funny enough for that episode (they had funnier parts so this was cut out)

  • this was cut wasnt it?

  • This was great.

  • while i defs love seinfeld, i dont understand how it proves "seinfeld is the best tv show of all time"

  • @Timic83amv I use to say the same thing, but when you watch all the episodes, you realize how good the writing was for the length of the show, I admit the last episode sucked but it was a funny well put together show.

  • While the real Steinbrenner was great, Larry David's Steinbrenner was much funnier.

  • what episode was this from? i've seen it all but i can't remember this scene...

  • @hekasoram me either

  • BIH Stenbrenner.

  • Why wasn't this ever aired!?!?

  • i heard it was steinbrenner that wanted the scenes cut because he realized that susan was killed off. doesn't make alot of sense but whatever. just saw his 30 for 30 special on espn. what a character

  • when elaine walks into georges office she looks so sexy

  • Is this from an actual seinfeld episode?

  • @MagnumDraggan The scenes were deleted because Larry David felt Steinrenner's acting wasn't good enough. And he was always a stickler for keeping the same actors. When they did re-cast Newman and Frank Costanza they re-shot the scenes for syndication. These scenes are on the DVD set.

  • @beatle11 Thanks, I had noticed different actors for Frank Costanza and Morty Seinfeld but I never saw this before. I think it should have made it into the original episode...

  • I am a huge Seinfeld fan and never saw this. Which episode is this, it's great!

  • Lainey needs a cooler!

  • WOW, I must've seen this, but Julia NAILED Steinbrenner at the end. WOWOWOW.

  • @SouseisekiFromCS Julia nailed Steinbrenner? I didn't see them having sex.

  • @VortigernPendragon He meant that her impression was spot on.

  • why didnt this air?

  • The Elaine dubbing part is hilarious!

  • they just overdub the voices lol

  • RIP Steinbrenner

  • iirc, this was never aired.

  • i think they could have done both

steinbrenner could have been himself when you see his face, but when they see the back of his head, it could be larry david and lee bear

  • notice when steinbrenners back is to the camera he talks more..notice when elaine's back is to the camera she talks more..nice job!

  • I always appreciate that King George was never afraid to make fun of himself.

  • r.i.p boss

  • Drunk tank!!!

  • I was about to say, I've never seen this before and it turns out they were deleted scenes. lol

I bet Steinbrenner was fuming that him cameo got cut.

  • drunk tank!

  • Big Stein in Seinfeld. Never aired, but it should have!

  • Even though I live within the 'Red Sox state' =p I have always been 100% loyal to the Yankees. We miss you Boss. It won't be the same without you. Thanks for all the great memeories. Rest in peace. =~(

  • Drunk Tank

  • she was good.

  • According to IMDb, Steinbrenner's appearance on Seinfeld (The Invitations, 1996) were deleted scenes.

  • thanks for everything george. RIP

  • Julia Louise-Dreyfus does a better Steinbrenner than Steinbrenner.

  • he looks like he was having a lot of fun! RIP sir.

  • R.I.P Boss!

  • deleted scene?

  • Was this a deleted scene? I have *NEVER* seen this, and I'm almost completely positive I have seen EVERY episode of Seinfeld.

  • @jimmyjames75 You're right about that ...

  • bye bye mr steinbrenner

  • great actor

  • RIP Mr. Steinbrenner.

  • And they said he couldn't act! RIP, George! You're already missed.

  • I didn't even know who Steinbrenner was until Seinfeld. It's cute that he did this cameo, and funny that they never really addressed him by name.

  • R.I.P

  • Is that Kathy Bates doing Elaine?

  • rip

  • It's too bad they didn't use this clip in the show.

    R.I.P. George Steinbrenner.

  • Rofl, this is a great way to remember George. RIP.

  • This never aired on TV because Steinbrenner found out how they killed off Susan and he did not want to be apart of the episode.

  • @jimmyjames75

    That's right.

  • rip george

  • Rest in peace.

  • I loved how he said castanza everytime on Seinfeld Larry David version anyway rip.

  • thanks, Boss- for everything.

  • RIP Steinbrenner, from a Marlins fan.

  • RIP Mr. Steinbrenner thanks for caring about winning

  • Was this even broadcast? I don't remember it.

  • R.I.P., Mr. Steinbrenner, from a Cardinals fan.

  • RIP George, thanks for the memories and the wins.

  • which episode is this?

  • @mjrledhead These scenes never aired, but I was unaware they even existed until today!

  • @ThrasybulusBrig wow thats crazy. cool

  • RIP George

  • Thanks for the childhood baseball memories Mr. Steinbrenner. RIP

  • RIP big man!

  • RIP George, hmm, does Elaine dance? Did he ask Elaine if she dances?

  • the end is real funny. RIP Steinbrenner

  • at least he's at peace now

  • Steinbrenner is an awful actor but RIP.

  • hahaha y didnt they include this? its perfect

  • This was cut out of the episode. It's on the DVD.

  • Was this a bonus scene?

  • EB! EB! LMAO! !!

  • too bad his scenes were cut, they were pretty good. But Elaine's scene at end wasn't right with the voiceover and all. Just doesn't go well. It also wouldn't seen right to show his face, sort of braking continuity after all the previous episodes where we don't see his face. Maybe they could have stuck him in at the end of the episode for a quick scene.

  • EPIC Elaine Steinbrenner

  • Wait I don't get it.

I thought steinbrenner was someone else? The guy that we never see his face......?

  • @mineohno This is the REAL George Steinbrenner.

  • wtf, lol

  • Steinbrenner was good....too bad hes a pompus ass that buys all the talent.

  • @emiller0408 Steinbrenner is far from a pompous ass. Shut the fuck up faggot.

  • It wasn't Steinbenner in Seinfeld it was Lee Bear, and Larry David did the voice. you guys are failure fans.

  • I don't think you understand.

  • @Gaundolf Gaundolf is right. It is indeed Lee Bear. I saw a video where Larry David talks about having the real Steinbrenner do an episode, but his acting skills were so poor that he was flown back to New York that afternoon. its on youtube somewhere.

  • Steinbrenner's acting is in fact quite good in the first scene when they're at the office.. But the latter scenes kinda ruined the whole thing..

  • The scene was funny, but Steinbrenner was just awful. Thankfully they took this scene out. Still, if it was Larry doing Steinbrenner, this would have been a good scene, and for certain a good outtake.

Didn't really care for the Elaine part either (with her back to the camera) just didn't work for some reason.

  • They should have dubbed larry's voice over steinberner, that would have been funny.

  • wasn't stein's acting...the scene just didn't work

  • I don't think he did a bad job(especially for a non-actor), but he didn't make the scenes work as they should.

Somehow, the timing is off. They're not funny(aside from the last part).

  • yeah this was deleted in an interview Larry David says he cut the scene cause George can't act.

  • yuck

  • Man, Steinbrenner is an awful actor...

  • LOL Top Shelf :)

  • Was this a deleted scene?

  • Yes this is a deleted scene in which the uploader fails to mention.

  • you sound like the biggest prick on the internet

  • oh man a tough guy on the internet. why dont you pick on somebody in real life and see what happens loser.

  • haha im not picking on anybody, im just saying you seem like a prick, and if you'd knock me out or what ever would happen in real life, just for calling you a prick, then yeah, you are a fuckin prick. its really not a matter of in person or not.

  • yes

  • What episode was this going to be in?

  • the invitations

    the one where susan dies

  • Thats confusing. The fake Steinbrenner had already appeared before that episode?

  • oh wait i get it now

  • Elaine's Steinbrenner was so great.

  • The last part was so funny XD

  • I don't think he did that bad of a job!

He really seemed to be into it!

  • larry david did a much better steinberner

  • Damn, what are these, deleted scenes? I've never seen them.

  • Yup. Larry fired him and cut the scenes.

  • LD said that Steinbrenner was the worst actor ever.

  • it kind of proves the integrity that we all know Larry has when it comes to trying to put out the best show possible. at the time, having the real george make an appearance would have made headlines and probably draw a larger than regular audience, but larry knew it was subpar by his high standards, so he cut it.

  • I agree; I like it better like this; because the George Steinbrenner character on the show is not the "real" George Steinbrenner, the same way the the Jerry Seinfeld character is not the real Jerry who was a rich married actor/producer in the last seasons in stead of a single middle-class comedian.

If they had put this scenes on it would have ruined the magic that is the George Stainbrenner character.

But apart from that, hadn't LD left the show by this time and only collaborated as GS's voice?

  • Well, the real Jerry didn't get married until a few years after the show ended. But he was rich and dating a busty teenager back then!

  • Way to go Jerry!

Anyway you get the point. Another example is Larry David who's actually married to a Jewish woman and has children.

  • Not anymore. He got divorced a couple of years ago. Before Season 7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
