really i did to i lived by sugar grove and my dad owned woodys bar and grille! now i live in myrtle beach its cool and much warmer than up there! lol. the school i went to is burne union middle school.

Parts of downtown is nice, but there's an eyesore where there was a fire last year. Plus many shops lie open as well, which is sad.

Yeah, art and clay is working on refinishing the side of their building, and the mainstreet program has been working with a developer both on the Mithoff building and the possibilities of a parking garage! Alterations by Marcy is moving into one of the empty places on main as well. Thanks for taking the time and interest to post. Thank You, That brought back many memories. I was born and raised in Lancaster before leaving for the military in 91'. I've only been back a few times, but have lots of family still there.

I lived in Lancaster for one year (1961). I believe you even showed what was my father's hardware store at the time. I went to Thomas Ewing Junior High School. I remember playing on Mt. Pleasant and William Tecumseh Sherman's boyhood home was right around the corner from my father's store. It's a beautiful town and it looks like it is even more beautiful now. I have to get back there soon.

really i was there like 5 months ago but one of the buildings burnt down and i saw it happen! omg it was so scary i dont know what one it was when i find out i will wright back.
