both are awesome marvel characters but the main differences between them are that 1: the torch is a hero and the ghost rider is more of an antihero but a hero nonetheless. and 2: the torch's flames cause physical damage while the ghost rider's hellfire and penence stare burns the soul without causing physical harm. overall i'd say i prefer ghost rider cause he badass and his flames can burn even underwater...lol jk i could care less about powers i just want that freakin jacket!!! :)

the human torch have one thing as an advantage, he can fly and do supernova besides he is innocent and a clean soul so the riders "dirty soul" burn wouldn't work. Even so the rider is the coolest and he have more style.

This is just like Fighting Fire with Fire. Even if Ghost Rider had hell fire and used it then Human Torch would absorb it. They are both equally matched. They would both die even if you sprayed them both with a fire extinguisher.

nope. hellfire is on a whole 'nother level. There's no absorbing HELL fire. Besides, even if human torch could possibly absorb it, which he can't and won't, ghost rider is known for super human strength. He could break torch's neck and now the fantastic 4 has to change their name to the thrilling 3

Deadpool blasted danny ketch's rider with a water hose and all it did was piss danny off. Ghost rider's hellfire also burns the soul,not the flesh

@vaniaLP89 ok this is my point of view, johnny storm watched on tv johnny blaze making another motorcycle show... but storm thought that it wasn't that good, so as "the famous human torch" he challanged blaze to a motorcycle duel, in which both of them would jump over helicopters to the other side of a football field in LA, after both of them lost they shook hands and ended with it... OR NOT, that night blaze changed into ghost rider, storm couldn't belive what he was watching on his window
