No it won't. It will only affect your warranty.

When you bought your phone it had a warranty in that first 30 days if any thing happens to your phone its repaired or replaced free of charge. Now if you debrand your phone you lose that. Only if your warranty is already up.

Its actually a year. If you have at&t. Because the manufacture still covers the phone through at&t. I know because the flip Sony walkman phone i had messed up after thirty days and at&t replaced the phone.

okay so cingular has their own ericssons and its only ment for cingular.

but wen u debrand it its no with cingular no more

its just the plain W580i original factory settings .

it adds much more features and u can do many more things to the phones

debranding removes all the factory settings that have been install by the operator you bought you phone with.

meaning, if you by vodafone you will loose both power up and down vodafone branding, you will be able to access some files and setting the operator didnt wish you to have before. remove menus such as the orange carrier have to offer on the homescreen. and a few extras.
