As long as the laser is a Q-switched system then there will be no scarring. Any other laser or IPL system will burn and scar!!

Thanks. My friend wants his tatoo removed and I know the newer Lasers dotn burn. This is something to look for if you want a tatoo removed.

when some people get scarring, is it mainly just the 'outlining' part of the tattoo that leaves a white line? where it was drawn? or is it possible the shaded areas can leave a car also? as all I am looking for is to have my shaded dark area's lightend up or even remove some of the shading completely just leaving the outline in some places... and leave the lines in place? is this possible

The answer is YEs, for some people. I have a tribal scar armband where the tatto used to be, it looks like a branded armband. LOL
