  • Hey I gotta question for you. I've recently read some articles that say it's been proven that creatine directly increases dht. I know dht helps with muscle but it comes with some obvious downsides. I workout with a lot of explosive movements / using quick twitch fibres. If we can assume that these articles / studies are correct, is there an alternative to creatine which doesn't directly affect dht levels. You guys seem to know your stuff so I appreciate any help you can throw my way.

  • Very informative video... I've always asked this question on most of your videos but you, for some reason, won't answers it, so again, do you ship internationally? Thanks!

  • @vyperx1 sorry if we have missed this, our new site goes live the first week of January and we will be offering shipping to Canada and Australia initially and adding other countries over time. Thank you for the kind words and watching.

  • best Post workout meal. im about to list.

Walgreens Bear Claw Ice cream 1/4 cup + 1 1/2 - 2 scoops of whey protien (chocolate of course)

8 oz of non-fat milk. Blend and pour over 1 cup of shredded wheat or weetabix.

    DELICIOUS!

  • Does Taking BCAAS while Doing Cardio prevent you from loosing muscle ? or do Bcaas only help when doing heavy lifhting?

  • @master9716 it can as they like carbs (and protein since a complete protein has BCAAs) have the ability to activate the mTOR pathway which means muscle catabolism would be stopped. That being said if you take in enough calories it should not be a concern (of which you get ~0.75-1g of protein per pound of your goal body weight per day) Hope this helps.

  • @BestPriceNutrition Yes it does. But Activating the mTOR in an empty stomach wouls assure your body burns fat instead of Calories or Muscle wich sounds like a better way of leaning out ' according to your videos.

  • @master9716 kind of yes but keep in mind this is all relative to how many calories you are taking in. Ultimately we think you'd better of taking in something rich in BCAAs that includes all 20 AAs instead of just BCAAs so you have the possibility have building muscle. Let us know if you have any other questions, thank you for watching.

  • liked favorited and shared !

  • @darkwingedrussia thank you very much, we appreciate you watching and the support.

  • What is the name of the element that causes high blood pressure and water weight?

  • Review for Driven Sports Craze? pretty new. no arganine...interested on your opinions on it.

  • @brnsktingdieskting18 feel free to send us a PM with questions and we will answer back.

  • is there any benifit to drinking whey protein or dextose during a workout? like an during intense leg workout?

  • @youngReale not really as you would be just fine taking these post workout. Also drinking these while training (if you had a fair amount) would start drawing blood to your gut when you need it in your muscle tissue so bottom line is you are better off waiting. Hope this helps.

  • you say not to do pushdowns and extensions for triceps, so if i wanted to work my triceps other than just using them to aid in my chest and shoulder press, would dips be a good choice? like bench dips and regular dips? and would adding weight to that be an ok way to go?

  • @10gguizado yes as you would not have your elbows locked in a bad position so dips and even weighted ones should be fine. Just listen to your body. Hope this helps.

  • have you guys thought about doing supplements + work-out training videos?

you know, like in those muscle mags: they would tell you what supplements to take pre-work-out, then tell you what muscle groups you need to exercise to get a certain look, how to do those exercises correctly with the correct rep counts, and what post-work-out supplements you need to take to help you achieve your desired look faster.

U know what i'm talking about, right?

i haven't seen any video like that on YT, ever!

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 we have discussed programs such as CrossFit and how supplements come into play. Same w/ supplements for runners etc... Check out the CrossFit video and let us know if that is what you had in mind. Thanks for the suggestion and watching we appreciate it.

  • I have a major nutrition question that I haven't really been able to get answered anywhere. I go to the gym first thing in the morning (between 5:00 and 6:00am) because that's the only time that I truly have to get a satisfying workout. What should I be consuming at this time, given that I don't have the luxury of being able to eat four hours before heading to the gym? What sort of carb/fat/protein breakdown should I go for, and what quantity and type of each nutrient? Also, liquids or solids?

  • @Ledman41 well there a few things to consider. 1) is what are you taking in before bed as that can help serve as fuel. 2) you don't want to take in too much immediately before you train so as not to draw too much blood to the gut. Therefore you want just enough of something so you don't feel tired and empty but not too full. We just reviewed some good non stimulant pre-workouts. One of them (Empyrean Nutrition Beta Peptide) has 3g of PeptoPro, 3.5g of fruits and veggies and 2g of beta alanine.

  • @Ledman41 (cont'd) Now this one has no stims so if you took something like it you can go buy a bottle of caffeine (you can buy for less than $10). This is good because of the di- and tri-peptides requiring very little blood to the gut for digestion. Now another option is to eat something (a very small amount) about an hour b4 training, something like 1/2 a banana and 10-15g of whey. Now the former is probably the better of the two and does not require you to get up an hour early. Hope this helps

  • @BestPriceNutrition I just opened a tub of Maximize V2 so I probably won't be switching pre-w/o unless a strong tolerance develops. Before bed I'll drink one serving of ON Casein, usually with a tablespoon of Udo's (this happens 6-8 hours before exercise the next day). What I've been doing is generally some rye or wheat toast with a dash of Smart Balance spread or a thin slice of soft cheese. This has worked fine, but I wanted to know if I could improve upon it, or if I was ok as is.

  • @Ledman41 perhaps a half scoop of whey (10-15g) otherwise if you are feeling good while training keep doing it as you can make up for a lack of macro nutrients following training and throughout the day.

  • purchased 7.5 lbs. of isopure's creamy vanilla whey protein last week from your website, just came in today and tastes great. thanks a lot guys

  • @okaay10 thank you so much for ordering from us, we really appreciate it. If you ever have any issues feel free to contact us here if need be. Thanks again.

  • how many trains go by ur office a day?! every video u hear 1 :P

and i'd love 2 see a video about ur stance on steroids. personally, ive done a gd bit of research and ill do a cycle in the near future but im curious about ur opinions and u always dig up gd research tht im probably unaware of.

  • @gucks4life too many :). As far as steroids go we think it is a personal decision where one must weigh out the up and down sides of taking them. Obviously we have not taken them. We will say that as laws have become more strict with regard to steroids many more counterfeits and tainted steroids are out there. Bottom line is really do your research and understand the risks of doing so, sorry we could not be of more help.

  • hey what's up guy's will it be ok if i take jack3d ,yoked and a creatine

  • @MrNasmar you can, we have reviews on Jack3d and Yok3d you may want to check before purchasing, especially Yok3d. Hope this helps.

  • GREAT VID!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • @johnpsmith84 thank you for watching.

  • hello john.....

i wanted to take your opinion on if it is ok to use whey protein as a supplement for people with liver dammage

because most of them have severe muscle wasting????

  • @ebsshassan from what I know a person w/ a damaged liver would have to walk a tightrope between getting enough protein to function and thrive but not too much so as not to stress the liver too much and not too little so as you said there is not muscle wasting etc.. I tend to think one may do better w/ a source of protein rich in di- and tri-peptides, low in free form amino acids and oligo-peptides as this take some stress of the liver. That being said we are really not experts in this area..

  • @ebsshassan (cont'd) so it is hard for us to be too confident in this area and as you know as a pharmacist each case is a little different. Sorry we could not be of more help. Thank you for watching.

  • I have to say that this video is great..Lots of Helpful information.

    Bigg Props!

  • @MrMainevant thank you, glad we were able to help.

  • Hi John and Glenn! Please keep up the excellent job you guys have been doing. By far my favorite and imo one of the best supplements review around. I work in customer service so I can relate to some of the things you're dealing with. Please know that you have a big fan rooting for you.

"You can't teach those who's not willing to learn"

    Cheers mates!

  • @LuckyAce23 exactly, we feel you as you can't make everyone happy as you know. Thank you for the kind words and watching.

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!:) man really knowledgable and straight up really good job keep it up!!!:)

But I just got a question might sound silly but I want to be sure: Are Young women/ teenage girls(17+) allowed to take

L-Glutamine without having to worry about any side effects? And what would be a normal serving of L-Glutamine for Young women/teenage girls(17+)?

    PLEASE ANSWER!!:)

    THANKS!!!!!:)

  • @DUSBIGOLO thank you for the kind words. Not at all, amino acids are not gender specific so a young woman could however if she is not a long distance runner or other endurance type athlete its not necessary to take glutamine as the evidence of benefits for other athletes is lacking, hope this helps.

  • I enjoyed the video. I think these Q & A videos should become a regular thing, maybe every 2-3 months or so.

  • @gorfimus we likely will do more, just in a shorter video. Thank you for watching.

  • he answered my question about cardio! and turning fat into muscle! these guys are the best! haha

  • @10gguizado thank you for asking, glad we were able to answer it for you.

  • Where or from what can i get "probiotic" , Thanks !!!!!!!

  • @amirus1 in short it is good bacteria that perform and aid in a variety of roles in our bodies. We sell some very good ones from Garden of Life (the Raw Probiotics and Primal Defense are very good). Hope this helps.

  • You talk alot, how about you tell us your diet/supplements so we can see what you take??

  • @Gormanaldo sure I'd be happy to share send a PM. Thank you for watching.

  • if growth hormones (hgh) make your organs grow.. how the hell are they legal?

  • @BearGrylls123100 How the hell are cigarettes legal?

  • @MrBiloDoh Lobbyists

  • @theUSER101 if someone wants to smoke and is an adult that is a personal decision and making them illegal would only serve to create a black market.

  • @BestPriceNutrition Haha....you don't have to tell me that, I'm a libertarian. I agree.

  • @theUSER101 I know that's why I said it, lol.

  • @BearGrylls123100 they are only legal via prescription and they can be helpful for people such as little people or those w/ other disorders relating to to GH. Obviously they are abused by others which we assume is what you are referring to.

  • @BestPriceNutrition yeah, like when you see bodybuilders with this huge gut. denis wolfe is a perfect example. ive seen gh being sold very popular websites. universal have one called gh max. are these just less powerful?

thanks for the replies you guys, you give the best advice and replying to comments is great too see too.

  • if im trying to lose weight and cut down on carbs, does that mean i shouldnt really eat fruit? because a lot of fruit has a high level of carbs

  • @BearGrylls123100 no, it boils down to total calories, eating fruit will not necessarily cause you to gain weight, just keep it within reason. Get an idea of what you are taking in for about a week and then begin cutting back on some of your calories slowly. If you need more help please let us know via a PM.

  • best info about supplements and nutrition on youtube, hands down!

  • @10gguizado that is very kind of you to say, we really appreciate the support. Thank you.

  • Hey John, I Had A Question About Dextrose For Post Workout, Would Would Be A "Safe" Amount As Far As Tsp. 1/2Tsp ETC. For A Textbook Healthy 21 Year Old Male At 70in, and 72kg, A Little Vague I Know But Would You Maybe Have An Estimate, So Not As Much Stress Will Be Put On The Pancreas?

  • @NateMontoyaFit we would not look at simple carbs as putting stress on the pancreas as an insulin spike post workout is good, and a 1/2 teaspoon is not enough to do what you need. At your size shoot for ~ 50g carbs and 25g protein in your post workout mix. Does this help answer your question?

  • tnx

  • @gdilov thanks for watching.
