@richard20bris being as space is so massive and vast, its extremely unlikely that anything would hit it. people often think that asteroid belts are closely clumped together and flying through one would be suicide, but really it doesnt work that way. the asteroids are miles apart, its just conceived that they are close together because a miles distance in space might as well be an inch.
