I played 9 Jahres Darl Age of Camelot. I never forget the good moments in pvp and pve, how many fun and nice peoples but after so long time all my friends leave the Game and so it was time to finish. But one of the greates mmo´s with a great feeling of atmosphere and gameplay

Best MMO ever ,even now ! Graphics are old but there is nothing as epic as this good old DAoC : 3 realms ,each having their own sets of classes ... only problem I have : I can't find any newer MMO as interesting as this one (on freeshards most of time :p)

The game is still active and its easy getting max lvl taking quests from the taskmasters. Getting eq is mostly done by just doing pvp. Dont let the lvling make you quit! The game doesnt really starts untill you hit the high end pvp zones where all the people are at!

Check out "Uthgard" and the "Faith Instant level 50 PvP RvR server" Totatally free, not as bad as the actual Uthgard server that makes you level and waste time, just pure free pvp fun and totally legit :) Made a cleric (starts at RR5, and attained RR7L7 within 12 hours played including pve)

@Slimhor "level and waste time" I personally like seeing that my character is alive and gets better till level 50, that's boring, there's no challenge..

graphics look REAL bad compared to any new game nowdays. it has nothing more to offer compared to other MMORPGs that can be played for free.

just an average MMORPG, i wouldn't pay a penny for it.

Great video and fantastic music choice!! I've played this game for 6 years and I loved it. When the music changed at 2:26, that made me almost cry, when I saw the slow shown szenes of the daoc-world and that reminded me for my playtime. DAOC ... you will ALWAYS live on in my heart, it was a great time! I know that this game is still on liveservers, but I will not start playing it again. Why? The graphics are shit, when you look at current games ;) My time for this game is over! :)

Ywain made the population go back up somewhat. Its got over 3k people primetime which for a daoc server is what you want. Doesn't seem like many when compared to WoW server populations etc but for this game its big. If anybody was wondering if its worth coming back, I'm having fun with it.

why dont they release a new updated one? This game I never played but have seen videos on it and heard about it. I like the idea and plot of the game, I just wish they would release a new one, with afew more add ons to this game and it will surpass WOW, Aion, and Lord of the Rings online. Already I find it better than WOW and LOTR online, Aion not so much because you can fight in the air, but this game is better because you work in factions.

After I played DAoC 6 - 7 yrs ago, n played with it 2 - 3 yrs...I don't play other online game longer than half year. The others cant give me the feeling about, "Call for Duty". Def 4 Relics, outpost for DF. And I played midgard, when the time I play it...we were out numbered by the other races. (the period b4 n after SI released.) :-D Great memories.

i have played over 50 mmos in the past year and wow for about 5 years and nothing comes close to the great times on DAoC.. other than the quests and graphics this game is the best.. if u like PvP or RvR this game was for u.. too many people have left to make the game as good as it was

I love this game !!

Between this and WoW for sure I pay for Daoc and not for Wow. Atleast with DAOC you get to go on the BG on low lvls and OWN people. You always have something to do and also takes a long time to lvl up when you're not used to it. The PvP- RvR thing is awesome also. Alot diffrent the other MMORPGS.

I used to play alot of GW but nothing will ever beat DAOC. Even tho there are patches and all, it's still an oldschool mmorpg.

New Frontiers ruined it for me. I had a warrior that I would just wreck people with and after New Frontiers came out I became nothing more than a shield for someone running a piece of siege equipment. I miss this game so much but it would just never be the same without all the friends I made along the way. Midgard FTW! Squish them hibbies and slap those uppity albs.
