roscoo15 this vestax cdx-05 r good av got the newwer versions the mbk now there only 350-380 per deck then ad get a gemini mixer or a pioner or a behringer mixer these vestax cdx-05 r good to start off with but wen u pick up on djing then u should upgrade to some pioners not the mk version like the cdj400 r good ur choice but startin off ad recomend these cdj or some numark but the vestax cdx-05 is a user friendly but rofesional cdj check out vids ov cdj players then make ur choice
Ok sorry! They have problems with reading the original CD's,with MP3's and burned CD's! Master tempo have some distortion shit! I Think its enough!!! :) Sorry on bad english! Bless!
hey mate great vidio and learned a lot plz can you tell me were you got your cd mixer and how much was it im just a begining dj and just wondered what would you recomend for me for the least amount of money thanx
if u buy a mixer DO NOT BUY A BERINGER MIXER, they may have lots of features but they r crap ive had 2 and the faders go very quick, get a stanton or a well known product
I dont normally like to give bad reviews but just a word of warning. I bought mine from HTFR the other day and I'm sure i will like them however I had only unpackaged them and started mixing when 1 of the CDX's wouldn;t give the CD back out. Just a word of warning.
"typhooking" - they plug into a mixer using a red/white connection (phono) or 'line'. From the mixer you then plug into an amp or 'active speakers' which already have an amp in them. you can connect to your speakers depending on the certain connection to your speakers from the mixer usually a phono or sometimes a single mic output on some cheaper mixers.
stanton mixers are less expensive and worst quality than behringer mixers. i would personally choose either a pioneer if you have a larger budget or a denon mixer. american audio are actually pretty good for someone on a lower budget or are just starting out. american audio 1000 cdj's are a good cd deck for a little bit more than there vestax'
for the key lock thing - i don't like that on any turntable i've tried it on so far. it actually seems to fragment the sound into millions of pieces and it's kinda noticable... especially with large pitch changes. anyone else noticed this?
so true about +/- too much. my friend has a MIDI controller sort of mixer that doesn't change from 50%. useless.
do you happen to know if this model is better or not as good as the cdr07, it looks almost exactly the same but has a record feature ( which im not sure i need?) but theres a package deal from htfr on the cdr07.
2xcdr07 mixer(vmc185xl i think) and hpones leads etc for £740.
the vestax cdx05 is highly rated and cheap compared to the more expensive djcd players for the price, I was thinking of getting 1 (or 2) for myself, its only $299 US each (like the axis 9 but better). But would have to transfer my entire vinyl coll to cdr which would take forever lol, feel better dude.

This looks simple for beginers to learn and use, unlike the DVJ 1000 which has more than 100 buttons and functions on it. Great tutorial BTW :D

I want to buy a CD turntable and I am only a beginner and don't want to spend a lot of money on it yet. What turntable do you recommend?
