  • Perfect example of why the DNR will shut down the Trophy season. You should use circle hooks, that fish is dead in an hour or less. What a waste!

  • hey dude i fish the susquehanna in wilkes barre. what state did you catch the fish

  • Circle Hooks Bro!!!!

  • Nice!

  • Hell of a fish right there congrats.

  • So you are a plumber HUH?

  • I use ultra light tackle so it feels like a shark.

  • I have hooked several like that only landed one.Great job!

  • Prior to this year i never really caught a huge striper per say. Caught a few big ones this year and Ummm wasnt impressed much...A 12lb Bluefish fights 3 times harder than a 30lb Striper. Not saying that i wouldnt do it again i will but just saying.

  • dammmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats a hybrid, i think

  • kenny you got the nut hahahahhaahahhaha nice fish dude catching em on needles all day

  • polo boxers...whatt a stud!!

  • nice fish nice crack

  • @dinxay24 hahahah

  • that shit is tiny

  • Great catch, awesome fish!

  • fat sow huh, nice catch!

  • @xRAWSAWx thanks!

  • Haha, nice surprise!

  • Got 17 fish last night. 2 keepers. 31" & 33". Most fish were 24-27", couple smaller. From shore.

  • NICE PIG!!

  • @bassfishing247 yes sir! stripers are coming back around the way right now!!!!! its go time!

  • @dickdog75 tight lines!!

  • when you fish on shore is it still as good fishing?

  • @Holyjtizzle123 i think as long as you have live herring you have a good chance of catching stripers

  • The place I go striper fishing is Lake Cumberland, Kentucky right by the dam. Best place to go other than the Cumberland River.

  • Damn! That was huge. I dont mean to hate on u but why was it bleedin so much?

  • try striper fishing in the chesapeake bay! my favorite fish to catch around here

  • @towtrav123 this video was shot in the upper chesapeake also known as the "susquehanna flats"

  • @towtrav123 that's one good place, also try fishing at Lake Cumberland, Kentucky right at the dam, also try the Cumberland River, my dad and I manage to get a 45 pound striper, 37 inches their

  • What type of reel is that?

  • SAY NO TO CRACK

  • @holychewbacca hehe, agreed!

  • @dickdog75 absolutely man hell if ya ever get the chance to come down here hit me up and ill take you to the good spots to fish for striper and big walleye i live about 10 minutes from powersite dam the first built west of the mississippi in the united states

  • anyone who says lake striper aint shit outta come to southwest missouri and fish for them in bullshoals lake they spawn here and only some are stocked they feed on trout in the spring time while the spawn many trout fall over the dam when they run water and those stripers get big the state record which was 62 pounds thats right 62 pounds was caught this year on the lure i prefer to use not live bait or herring parts like you guys do I use a trout colored Saltwater Redfin i caught a 33lber

  • @PigBenis222 i have never had the chance to fish in southwest missouri for striper but i would love to one day! the stripers are about to start running north past us in delaware here in the next few weeks. can't wait to try for some big ones :)

  • lil bitty one try the etowah north georgia

  • @ReddFissh Dude the stripers that come thru the bay to the susquehana river to spawn are some of the biggest in the world way bigger than any lake striper there coming from the ocean not stocked in a stupid lake in the last 2 years i caught two over 50 lbs

  • lil ass fish

  • that was some nasty crack! spakle that gap!

  • Nice!

  • The chances of the fish surviving are very slim due to the amount of blood lost imo.

  • can i ask where you launch your boat at??

  • better than catching nothing though huh?

  • its not big. nothing special

  • we were using either live or fresh herring. odds are it was just live lined.

  • it definately is the susquehanna flats. thanks for stopping by

  • Thats not the flats

  • That was a nice thing you did (catch and release), but in my fishing opinion...that fish was hooked in the stomach/throat and it is forshure that it's going to die....why didn't you just take it home?

  • because most marylanders are highly ignorant. the entire states manciple water supplies are heavily over fluoridated. destroying such nice specimens for the sake of self entertainment. also, those fish are caught out of season, and cant be kept, so the DNR also has a hand in this ignorance, for they rather those gut hooked fish be released to die than to be enjoyed on the table, due to the spawn. the DNR does more enforcement than actual rational research, explained by a lower shore waterman.

  • were are they catching the stripers now?

  • nice
