there is a us citizen and an illegal family they both have 3 childrens each, deductions are about $4000 each . do you know whats gonna happen when they file their taxes. they get about $3000 each. but wait have you hear about child tax credit . guess what, the citizen family gets another $5,400. child tax credit while the illegal family gets nothing. so if they paid $4000 in taxes .the citizen family gets $8,400 all together illegal family gets $3000

@alex11830 It's not fishy. The ONLY way for an illegal to work is under the table. Hence, he does not pay income taxes. Buying merchandise and renting apartments (also illegally under the table and the owner most likely is not claiming that income and not paying taxes on it) does not make up for the loss of income tax. If it did, no one would have to pay taxes.
