Remember Exchange is a Microsoft thing. Evolution does the best it can to be compatible with Exchange.
I personally use POP email so there is no problem.
I find Evolution's interface very nice, nicer than Thunderbird IMO.

Thanks for the comment. Yes Evolution has a very easy to use interface. I'm not sure why I keep loosing the connection to Exchange.

Since Exchange is a Microsoft proprietary protocol I am sure the makers of Evolution has to reverse engineer the protocol much the way Samba does for SMB.
