Hy everyone..a friend of mine told me that is possible open a little business in Etiopia with something like 10 000 euros(us dollars)..A little cafe or something; telling the truth I am fed up of the "so called "modern world"..and I wish to spend part of my life with people that still make you smile..!!So I am planning to go there in august..can someone give me more advices on the argument?..plus I am a musician and I would love to play in the curches some good gospel or afro music!!God bless

its probably possibe to open a bis with 10000 spacially know that the euro and the dollar are strong compared to the birr it might be possible....it might not be big and late u live large but its possible....i dont know wat ur standards are but u should go chek it out im shur u would find something u would like

my advice for is go for it. you won't regret it. ethiopians are warm and loving people. 10,000 euros is more then enough. a taxi driver will take you around the city for 1 us dollar....lol maybe more now but u get the idea. try the coffee biz

I suggest you go to the local Chambers Of Commerce in Addis Ababa before spending a single Euro. Spend at least six months in Ethiopia before making any serious decisions on money.

Ethiopia welcomes investors big, small and even tiny I'm planning something similar business project. Its along way off and be taking a little more than 10,000 euros; closer to 30,000 Euros.

Actually there are no more thieves in Addis than there are in Rome or Barcelona. So stop right there in that aspect. In fact Addis is a very safe city.
