What kind of "modified exhaust" is it? and how did you modify it? I am getting bored with my mute, stock 01' VFR exhaust. Thanks!

I don't know exactly, i bought it second hand. All i know is that the previous owner modified it somehow to make it sound like it does.

I've got a 99 with modified exhaust. Best sound in the world.Not only the exhaust, but the whirring sounds emenating from that gear driven cams engine. Sounds like it is supercharged as it goes by. At very low RPM feels like a V-twin, but as the revs come up, turns into a Ducati, then at around 4000 sounds like no other bike as the front wheel comes off the ground and you back off in fright.

Probably because it's a V4 not an inline 4. Better sounding even than V twins.
