It is open world.

You can travel galaxies and visit planets and do custom missions.

The game is HUGE and if you want to visit every single planet, you'll have to play it about 2 or 3 days to do so.

I just finished the game and I haven't found a single side quest by scanning a planet, how do I know which one to scan? I scanned loads.

How much planets did you scan? Did you scan all parts of it and thoroughly?

@Zanmatt2g Aequitas, Tarith, Helyme and Zanethu to name a few. I suggest you go to masseffect.wikia.com and in the search engine type "assignments" and scroll down to Mass Effect 2. Most of the ones with N7 in front of them are assignments aquired by scanning. But I found most if not all by just scanning planets at random. I had scanned every single planet before I did the Derelict Reaper mission.

@Zanmatt2g I think side quests occour on planets that are not in the solar systems that the mass effect relays are in, that you need to fly out to the other solar systems in that cluster

The new armor is cool, but I hate how you can't swap weapons and armor while on a mission. And how there is only like 25 guns in total. In the first game it seemed like there were 50 with like 8 versions of all of them.

you get the recon hood by purchasing a dr.pepper at any convenient store the dr. pepper has to have a picture of commander shepard or another EA games character once purchased you can open it and inside the lid will be a code enter this code at the dr. pepper website to redeem one of three helmets one of the helmets is the recon hood.

Hey, is it important if you play easy, normal or hard? I mean do you find other armors in different difficult stages?

It doesn't matter.

You get the armors doing custom quests, going on planets, buying them on The Citadel and other planets. The armors have different affects, for example 1 armor gives you +5% health, while the other one increases your reload speed by %10 or increases your ammo capacity by 15%.

All armors and helmets with other things are very easy to find, but take a lot of credits, and don't take a huge role in the game.

You will buy them and get them progressing through the game. There are about 50 armors and helmets and etc, I have about 42 right now.

I have a little problem with my recorder though. If i use any type of recorder (except Xfire, but it doesn't broadcast sound) it makes mini-"freezes" as you can see in the part where I look around.

My PC actually runs the game on medium, but I am having lag in those hugely detailed levels with a lot of special effects and etc.

I might need some help.
