This WON'T work because the file msipl.bin needs to be injected into the memory stick so the PSP will boot it. Check out my video to see how to do this. It also installs 5.00 M33-4 ;)

yes you have to! Just copy all your Mem stick in your Mac and after you are done put them again

you don't just go to settings and press format MS. you will have to do it on your Mac. Open disk Utility choose your PSP drive, select erase from the options and then in the volume format choose MS-DOS(FAT) and done the FAT isn't for fat psp only it will work for both
