oh my god are you people idiots. There is a school called the Marine Academy of Science and Technology (MAST) right next to Fort Hancock built from the old buildings there. We go on walks occasionally through or next to the batteries. It's not creepy and there is a lot of traffic there every day because ITS A NATIONAL PARK. lol i go to MAST i would know plus there is an NJROTC unit at the school and the drill team practices on the field next to those "creepy" yellow buildings.

@plataman6 If we're setting people straight I would first like to clarify that it is a barrier spit, not a peninsula. Secondly, there is nothing creepy about Sandy Hook. The base never saw any action and no one ever died there. And on top of all that, this was filmed in many restricted areas that are restricted due to crumbling structures and asbestos. There's a reason rangers patrol them.
