  • Can i use the classic controller on pc games when i have connected the wiiremote?

  • do i need bluesoleil to connect the wiimote for pc

    ?

  • Uhhhg that wiimote is going to get smelly!

  • I just want to use my wiimote and classic controller with my emulators (mostly N64). Though its not working for them.

  • dont i need the sensor thingy that u get when u have a Wii console with your Tv? when you connect it with bluetooth?

  • @elitotaku Nope. That thing you connect to the console isn't a sensor, it's just a bar that has infrared lights in it... the Wiimote senses them and uses that to determine its orientation relative to the TV set.

  • @kenmoore ok, im gona buy a Bluetooth dongel and a wii remote tomorrow and will use it with my Wii emulator just needed to make sure that u dont need anything else.

  • @kenmoore Dad?

  • funciona en windows 7 home premium?, y la compu q tengo ya tiene buetooth, puedo usar esta tecnica con mi bluetooth?

  • is there any way for me to get the bluetooth device icon/file in my control panel because lately i can't find it in my control panel so could you help me by telling me where to look for the file bluetooth devices in my conrol panel for windows XP? plz :)

  • @AlexIceLancelot Look for BlueSoleil. It works for me

  • thanks!

  • mine just keeps blinking! it does that every time

  • hey ummmm idk if my pc has bluetooth all i found blue tooth devices is tht it i am a vista

  • Where do we connect the sensor? is it to the pc?

  • how do you do this on win7

  • I really want to get this working, but it won't work. At first the wii remote blinked all 4 buttons after I got it connected, but it wouldn't stop blinking 4 buttons. After that, every time I connect it it immediately shuts off or the 1 and 4 player lights shine, and shortly after they shine the remote shuts off and I have to start all over again.

  • @DonovanHillery Hm, sorry, I wish I knew what the 1+4 lights meant... mystery to me, I'd try searching with Google for other people reporting the same problem, perhaps there's a solution out there on the web.

  • @kenmoore Thanks for the reply, but now I don't have that problem anymore. Now when I add my wiimote to my computer, all four of the lights keep flashing. It says my wii remote is connected on wiinremote and in my control pannel, but when I push buttons nothing happens on glovepie. Any tips? Sorry for asking so many questions.

  • @DonovanHillery The buttons continue to blink (sometimes) even after connected. Maybe your issue is with glovepie, I'd try another test app such as WiimoteWhiteboard -- if that works fine then glovepie may be the issue. Beyond that advice I have little to offer.... good luck!

  • @kenmoore Thank you so much. I found the problem now, but just one more question... I'm just wondering if you know how to get glovepie scripts to work correctly. I'm trying to get my wiimote button A to = the A button on the keyboard, but when I type "A = wiimote.A" it doesn't work. Same for "wiimote.A = A" (minus the quotation marks), sorry if you don't know, but thanks for helping me out with my other problems :D

  • @DonovanHillery Sorry, I haven't ever used glovepie... but glad you're making progress!

  • @kenmoore it means what player you are from 1 to 4

  • @brandonnesfan Well yes, but DonovanHillery's issue is different -- both the 1 and 4 lights show simultaneously, which would have some other significance.

  • Hi Ken, I am a Elementary teacher here in Oxnard California and I am very excited to finally put some technology in my classroom. So, that I can eliminate some of the problems of connectivty, I wonder if you could tell me what kind of laptop you are using and what kind of projector do you use and how does it connect to the computer? Mr G 2nd grade

  • @izzy4053 I am using a Sony VAIO FW series laptop with Vista and a standard large monitor (any monitor or projector will work as long as it doesn't affect the performance of the Wiimote picking up the IR light from the pen). While some people report bluetooth problems, it can be hard to troubleshoot those. I say just try it with any bluetooth-enabled laptop you have, and if you hit a roadblock try another model. Let me know how it goes!

  • My WiiMote Is Succefully Connected, What can i do with it?

  • if the wiimote is connected, can you play an emulator with it?

  • @MrFlashPhantom gotta find a program that will visualize it

  • i cant connect if i dont have bluetothO.o now im sad...

  • um my bluethooth box comes out blank

  • My standard reply: Sorry, things worked pretty well for me right from the start and I'm not an expert on Bluetooth by any means. I'll have to defer you to other support forums. I'd start with wiimoteproject (dot com) ... on the blue menu bar under 'Useful Links' > 'How To Connect' . Hope that helps.

  • @robert9berkel Hm, I'm not quite sure what you're asking... could you rephrase that?

  • What do i do if it doesnt show up- the bluetooth devices manager

  • hello, you can use the remote control after the wii use? and would you please post a comment on my account. Thanks.

  • @KissJustMimi errrrr, emmm, I don't know what to recommend, as this sounds very different from what I see on my Vista machine. I suspect you have different Bluetooth hardware with different drivers. Do a Google search for Matthias Shapiro Connect Wiimote. There's a good guiding article on his designerwpf(DOT)com site. Good luck!

    Good luck!

  • I have Vista Home Premium, And when I click on Bluetooth Devices, I don't get the little screen with a lot of tabs, it just gives me another page with two options:

"Add wireless devices" and "Bluetooth Settings" Everything is defult, but I can't ADD the wiimote. I open the Add page, and click the buttons and wait, but nothing happens....

What then? :( I want to play Zelda

  • my lights keep on blinking and want stop for anything, and the MouseWebSurfingFriendly.PIE file on glovepie my mouse moves to the top right.

  • Um....?

  • when i open the bluetooth devices, its empty. It dosnt open like yours. what should i do?

  • Sorry, things worked pretty well for me right from the start but I understand the underlying layers of technology are complex and fragile... I'll have to defer you to other support forums. • alright i am following the tips, but i just can't get my wiimote to actually connect. It keeps saying it is connected but it never works when i try to run glovepie with it

  • My control panel doesn't have Bluetooth devices.

  • cuz u need to make it OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO classic view

  • same

  • Hm, I haven't seen that error - you'll have to do some sleuthing online, sorry I can't help more.

  • I've downloaded the Wii Data Visualizer, but when I try to run the application, it says Wii Data Tester has stopped working? Help!!???

  • Can i connect my guitar and play my Wii guitar on the PC version of Guitar Hero ?

  • i dont have bluetooth devices either

  • what is the program you used after it was connected?

Also what else can you do with it after connected (other than your theremin which is really cool)

  • That was the Wiimote Whiteboard -- search for that and other experiments from Johnny Lee... lots of cool stuff out there.

  • my problem is the same, the lights keep blinking... and it doesnt works at all, how do we do????

  • often for me after the connection the lights continue to blink, so that's not necessarily a sign that it's not working. An info bubble should appear in the system tray saying the device was connected successfully.

  • what happens when you don't have anything that says "Blue-tooth Devices??!!!!!!!!"

  • Hm, good question. Sorry, that's not a problem I'm familiar with :(

  • man u rock .. thanks alot .. that was easy and clear :)

  • i dont have bluetooth devices??? or is it i cant find it??

  • Thank You

  • idk where to find blue tooth im my 2009 computer i jsut got on control pnael

  • I'm having similar problems. It'll blink for fifteen seconds after the installation, then the LEDs shut off and the computer won't respond to it. The Wiimote does show up in the list of Bluetooth devices, but once I close the dialog box and reopen it the Wiimote is no longer there. What am I doing wrong?

  • I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?

  • the lights on my wii mote don't stop blinking after i finish the bluetooth wizard stuff. Did it work, if so now what do i do?
